cait vs jinx

Why do cait's trap go off instantly after placed if enemy walks over them but jinx's chompers don't? As a jinx main this actually ticks me off.

Jinx's E is intended to be unreliable unless combo'd with hard CC from other champions. It's important as the character's primary weakness is "All my things have long cast/ramp up times so if you jump on me I'm in trouble." If she could more reliably land chompers she'd probably have to have lower damage or shorter range to makeup for it.

worst reasoning to give when compared to cait. literally the worst one that could have been given.

Ok fair enough. miss the good ole days when I threw my chomps out and they instantly snared people. Times have changed.

i always though jinx always had a delay may have been shorter before but a delay none the less

That being said, Caitlyn is more reliable and she has a viable escape. ??? How about we work on Caitlyn a bit eh? How about making it so you can't get trapped if you were on top of it when it was placed. Sounds fair to me.

pretty much instantly if the enemy walks over them compared to if jinx e

It's a good deal shorter, and it is more powerful overall. (unless you snare all 3 enemies with Jinx.)

I think cait relies on them a little more than jinx does.
