i just upgraded my gpu from a 1050ti to a 1070 but i noticed that at high settings im getting severe frame drops which did not happen on my 1050ti and my system is sufficiently cooled and nothing is thermal throttling, what could be causing this i have the most recent nvidia drivers and when i checked my gpu usage it was under 20% can someone tell me whats going on
Dynikus1 votesit could still be drivers, even if they're the most recent. Maybe try to use an older driver? also how much ram do you have? Play the game while running gpu-z and with your task manager open to monitor memory/cpu usage.
