Riot, when can we expect a Kha'zix update?

This champion has been hovering just below viability now since the beginning of season 5. He was adjusted so that his laning phase became much more difficult with the isolation changes and the mechanic in general being difficult to take advantage of. And when you are able to take advantage of isolation, it does not pay off nearly enough until much later in the game. The scaling on his evolved Q is very good, but the base provides very little advantage for a champion that relies so heavily on isolating a target.

All I ask is that you consider some alternative ways of allowing the bug to lane and/or jungle more effectively so that he can provide a significant threat early and mid game if played appropriately, while not losing his explosive charm late game when team-fights roll around.

I also invite the community to provide any suggestions that might play into his situational playstyle.

First I would like to point out that Kha'zix will have a VERY hard time having a place in the game simply due to the current meta. The tank meta makes it VERY hard to successfully play an assassin, especially in the jungle role. Once cinderhulk/ tank itemization is nerfed a bit (or damage itemization buffed), I think assassins will start to do a little better.

With that out of the way, there are a large number of things I would like to see done to kha'zix. I would love to see his evolutions changed around a lot to offer new and cooler power. But I won't talk about those for now, because I seriously doubt any of those ideas would make it into the game.

Realistically, I think the only thing Kha'zix needs to be viable again is making all of the jungle creeps count as isolated. The reason he hasn't been viable at all in season 5 is because the jungle saw a massive increase in damage and health and he wasn't compensated at all. Because they dumped a bunch of health back into the smaller camps, Kha'zix cannot quickly obtain isolation to bring down the big guy at each camp. This not only tremendously slows his clear speed, but results in him taking a much larger amount of punishment as well.

The situation doesn't really improve until you've gotten your tiamat which, at best, is the first 1900 gold you come across; not a small investment and this would forgo your smite buff. After purchasing tiamat the clear times are dramatically improved, though this may also be because by that point in the game, you may have more levels in your W to further augment your ability to kill the little guys.

All in all, I think kha'zix would be completely viable if all jungle creeps counted as isolated targets (or at least the big ones always take isolated damage).
