@Riot, A Question About Ranged Devourer Nerf
Hey guys first post ever.
I was wondering why it is you nerfed devourer double-proc on ranged champions to every 4 attacks instead of every 3. I understand why you nerfed it from 2, because Vayne proccing every other attack is disgusting and I understand that you don't want Kindred's proc to be done in 2 hits either. I don't get why you didn't take it to every 3rd attack though, because it accomplishes the same goal of keeping Kindred's proc to 3 hits and is a solid nerf to Vayne's DPS.
I feel like every 4 hits is far too hard a nerf though, especially because ranged junglers are rare and devourer damage was recently nerfed in 5.18. It suffocates the late-game fantasy of these champs, and makes the reward not even close to matching the risk. This change only really serves to stifle jungle diversity, it's not like ranged champions were even seen too commonly in the jungle, and this change serves to push them further into obscurity.
If you could, I would very much appreciate some context as to how you landed on every 4 hits instead of every 3 hits for ranged champions. Was jungle Vayne/Kayle DPS really that much of an outlier? Was Kindred's DPS projected to be? Or are ranged junglers just inherently problematic?
Obviously I haven't played with the new devourer yet, but if anyone on the PBE wants to chime in on how the changes feel to ranged junglers, feel free. I'm curious if you also feel my concerns are valid.

passive per attacks seems pretty gross by itself, right? Now double that on every other auto attack, you get 31% percent current health every other RANGED auto. So with 3 double autos you would get a rough estimate of 93% of a target's current health as bonus damage in the sequence.
