A Question For Bronze and Silvers getting paired with diamonds and higher in flex que
Do you guys enjoy the challenge?
Is it making you better?
Is it frustrating?
Are you learning better ways to play the game objective wise?

"Losing while learning" would be fine if low elo players were actually able to recognize where and why they made mistakes. If a mistake is not recognized as being a mistake, there will be no improvement. And since low elo players lack the game knowledge to identify what went wrong for them, they usually end up staying low elo whether they vs. high ranked players or not.
There's also the fact that high ranked players rarely, if ever offer advice to lower elo players while in-game. They usually just flame and shit-talk about how much better they are, if they speak at all. Because there's simply not enough time during the game to explain to a low elo player why a certain action is advisable. Do you really expect a diamond player to explain proper counter-jungling, lane matchups, how to farm well, when to trade, etc. all while a game is going on?
This in turn is also assuming the low elo player actually wants advice in the first place. Because many in low elo often misinterpret actual sound advice as flaming and criticism. Either that or they are simply unwilling to learn beyond what they already know, making advice pointless.
I'm only bronze 3 in flex and it's placing me against low plats and high golds.
And I honestly didn't enjoy getting stomped so hard and so quick that I couldn't learn anything except I should probably start bringing my own lube and that the enemy team is not even nice enough to kiss me before they fuck me.
Yes, absolutely! Not quite diamond for me, but high plat.
There are certain moves which players are free to make in bronze and silver, (warding river... CSing... playing whoever you like instead of a counterpick) these are oppurtunities for high level oppoents to get an advantage on you. I played a game with Plats bot-lane, I learnt a lot about being punished- it was painful... but, even though we lost, durin that game I knew I had to step it up and I actually became really creative with my own play. It was the -best- learning experience. 10 out of 10 would do again!
I'm silver, and I usually don't have problems with gold players. I usually play around their level. But anything above gold is obnoxious. I attribute this to the fact that people in those elos know how to carry and don't need much to do it. I laned against a plat yasuo and almost won lane against him. That is until my jungler walked into my lane and gave him two kills. He comes back with zeal and 3 shots me. So If i could just lane against them that would be one thing, but there's alot of outside interference that prevents me from doing that.
challenge is alright i guess
not really learning when i get stomped. i learn by actually understanding why things happen in the game.
yes it is
not sure
I'm gonna say it's crap.. seeing how flex was abandoned by everyone with a brain and that the game has been a frustrating pile of obnoxious cancer for the last few months.
Seriously... This game used to be fun but now all it does is make me want to kill everyone I play with with a claw hammer. My team... enemy team... doesn't matter. The game isn't fun anymore... it's a frustrating pile of sick and the community is as garbage as ever.
I learn virtually nothing.
It's like taking a caveman and starting him off with Beethoven and Mozart.
Your winning your lane, the other two are feeding horribly.
Eventually you will be tower dove by two to five people over and over as the only winning lane.
Your team is down 10K at 20. They rage and refuse to surrender. They don't know how to turtle so they jungle fight.
The other team spams taunts, I'm diamond 5 and keeps talking shit.
You ask yourself why do I play this game? Why did I waste 40 minutes?
The rarest occasion the smurf is In my lane I learn little and get better. That's probably one out of 40ish times.
It happened to me few times , but i did not enjoyed it since they were on the enemy team .
I hate flex queue. I never want to get out of bronze so it's completely antithetical for me to play it.
