Prediction about matchmaking

Normals will be abolished/removed

SoloQ will be brought back (or not, who the hell knows)

Riot will force player base to play dynamic with friends or play soloQ

Its a fucked up Idea so its kind of believable, and it fixes the playerbase problem with not having enough players for both dynamic/SoloQ

Riot.... My dynamic queue is called normals... thats what normals are for, playing with friends for fun... Ranked should always be reserved for COMPETITIVE players who wish to improve themselves above all else. That's why there is a ladder system that ranked players above other players. If you cared so much about group ranked then why are INDIVIDUALS still ranked in a ladder? When you removed ranked teams you doomed yourself to this solution.

Why did Riot even care about Dynamic? Why remove 1 established matchmaking for another new one? Lets not forget that Team builder was also removed (a normal matchmaking mode was removed)... Riot has no intention of keeping their word on anything about SoloQ, they are trying to condense everything.

And the one thing everybody likes about this whole situation is the role selector, and even that's fucked up for supports. I'm lost, confused... and especially irritated because while we all ride this shit storm waiting for answers... Lyte has been pretty absent because of leave/vacation.... why would Riot do all these things when hes away? Why rush it? Why risk having to endure this critique of their company when the lead guy is nowhere to be seen?

The only thing RIOT has done that I can understand is removing Dominion... Lowest playerbase, and different map/meta means balancing items/champions for that mode which takes up resources that could be spent elsewhere.

This would be a reasonable concern if: a) Dominion didn't share balancing resources with the other Alternate Maps, and b) Alternate Maps didn't average one to two balance updates per map per year. Bug fixes and potential graphic updates were possibly resource burdens, but not balancing. Furthermore, you include Team Builder's removal as a detriment, but Dominion's removal as a positive. Removing a matchmaking queue that's been partially replaced by a newer queue is much less of an issue than removing a game mode that offers gameplay that's completely different from anything else in League. At least in terms of players losing options.
