Sivir needs a rework

Hello there !

Sivir needs a rework IMO, let me explain why :

I - Identity

Sivir is supossed to be a thief/tomb raider/mercenary and the descendant of one of the most powerful emperor of Shurima. In game, we don't have that feeling. I don't feel like I'm playing a skilled tomb raider and mercenary, I just have the feeling that I'm playing a random girl throwing some boomerang, and that's sad !

With Azir you have the feeling of playing an emperor; With Ekko you have the feeling of playing that smart kid who's always one step ahead; With Jhin you have the feeling of playing that meticulous serial killer; With Aurelion Sol you have the feeling of playing that sassy space dragon who's not even trying to fight his opponents, instead he is just standing there and he slaps them with his balls (No pun intented)

With Sivir, you have the feeling of being a frisbee professional... and I don't think that's the point.

II- Gameplay

AA : Throw her weapon Q : Throw her weapon W : Throw her weapon then it does ricochet

See where I'm going ? Her gameplay is a bit boring, and it's not reflecting her personnality and what she is supposed to be ! Even the spellshield feels out of place (Is it magic ? Is she dodging her opponents ability ? Who knows ?)

To conclude, sivir really needs a gameplay update/rework. Visual wise, she's fine, maybe some new animations and idle poses (Fix that broken back, have mercy !) but her spells really needs to reflect what she is !

Thanks for reading guys ! :)

She could certainly use some love, though I'm not sure she requires a massive rework. I think she's a bit weak at the moment, but I think she just needs some buffs overall. I do like her very unique weapon, and the way she fits into Shurima's lore is great, though I also agree that she might benefit from some slight changes to her kit. Honestly though, I wouldn't know what to change about her. She could hit her "tomb raider" fantasy better as well, I won't lie, but again, I'm not entirely sure how to do that.

I totally agree!

I'm thinking some sort of small dash with sand particles would be cool but not all that fitting due to her current lack of mobility.

I love Sivir and i agree she really isnt like how her lore describes her. Maybe something on the lines of a Kindred, Reksai or Aatrox level rework would be great for her, though idk what to change on her

My thoughts a Sivir VGU:

Make her look more like a prepared Tomb Raider/Mercenary. Make her actually have on some gear to get the job done.

New Passive perhaps? Still debatable, her current passive is somewhat viable.

Her new Q is press once, it acts like a toggle. So here, skillshot her crossblade forward to a target, and ricochets to the nearest target, and bounces off every unique target X times, where X is the rank's described amount of ricochets before it automatically comes (straight?) back to Sivir. However, if your crossblade is still out there and you press Q again, the crossblade automatically comes (straight?) back to Sivir, damaging everything it hits, and once it reaches Sivir, Q is refreshed a portion of her CD equal to the amount of ricochet's left. So there's her wave clear and poke, but um... So, realistically, how will she AA if her Crossblade is out there? Make her throw a dagger? Sure, why not. While her Q is out there, she can throw rocks, daggers, or even dirt(!) to show she's a well prepared Tomb Raider and a mercenary, capable of using her environment and her gear to get the mission done. And, as a bonus to while her Crossblade is out there, she gets a little bit more Movement Speed since she has lighten up her load.
Oh hey, tack this on top of her Q: So you would normally AA, and the Crossblade returns to her with quite some speed. But, if you AA, THEN Q JUST after it hits her target, its then starts to ricochet, so its sorta basically like getting a ricochet for free! Nothing wrong with free. Free skill.

Her W can enhance her mercenary capabilities. Make her W cripple an enemy somehow so that she can perform the dirty work that needs to be done. Maybe make her crossblade hits a specific target she wants WHILE her Q is out there. So you press Q to throw your Crossblade, then use your W to consume one ricochet charge to land her weapon on your specific target and slows them down or something. Hell, you can make W happen even without her Q being out there. Then Q them.
Otherwise, her mercenary rework could maybe "get an enhanced bonus gold for killing an enemy champion with a bounty". So whatever gold you get for dealing the killing blow or assisting for the kill, you get more.

Her E, I dunno, it could find a way to enhance her "tomb raider" specialty. But a spell shield already does a decent job at that. But if you want skill, try this: You can press E whenever you want, a spell shield will appear on her Crossblade, not on Sivir. So if Sivir has not thrown her Crossblade, the spell shield will appear on her, otherwise if her crossblade is out there, it will appear on her Crossblade, blocking a projectile from a distance. Hows that for skill?

Her ult... should find a more powerful way to symbolize that she is truly a descendant of Shurima. I dunno how though... Her only proof right now is her crossblade and the blood through her veins...

What do you guys think?
