A tank should never even be capable of this sort of damage. There was nothing we could do as he dived our towers and chased us down after he reached a tipping point in the amount of kills he had.

If you think otherwise I would like to hear your thoughts but I felt like it was totally impossible to come back or even to kill him. I felt compelled to make this post because of how one sided this was even though we won the early game.

So you had a naturally squishy team with no tanks, with only two of you buying ANY armor, and are surprised the fed champion ran you down? Really? Also, Volibear isn't really a tank, he is a bruiser, he doesn't have the CC or defense increases to be considered such even though he is normally played as such.

"A tank should never!" When youre squishy. And he has an execute. And he has attack speed. And he has a basic attack augment.

Volibear is like mundo - a proto juggernaut. Hes not a "tank".
