I've just won 9 lp?!?!

Two days ago i was winning 19 lp every game and i promoted to silver 1, i only lost the first game at 0 lp and then i won... my surprise? 9 lp more. Only one lost of difference between 19 lp and 9 lp? Whats this?

Does no one read other posted boards? God damn guys. Stop panicking for 5 fucking seconds and look at the multiple other boards relating to this same topic.

The answer: Ranked is currently down in some regions and thus when you win right now, the enemy team is getting a loss prevented. This cuts your lp earned in half. So you'll only be getting 9lp instead of 18lp.

Assuming you didn't randomly duo with someone way lower mmr, it sounds a lot like loss forgiven may have been enabled during that match for whatever reason. When loss enabled is forgiven, losers don't lose any LP, but the winners only get half LP.

I didn't notice any recent issues that might have resulted in loss forgiven being on, but occasionally they have very small hiccups they turn it on briefly for until they can resolve whatever the problem is.

probably played against a bunch of B5, and recieved 9 lp. if it was against per say diamonds and you just somehow by stroke of gods luck.

youd get like 70lp. idk..

matchmaking. check what game it was, see what elo they were and report back
