RIOT: Jungle changes will make the level 2 jungle meta even worse

With less exp per camp given, junglers will be forced to farm more camps to level 3, making level 2 even more important than it is now (it's pretty important now btw with Camille, Xin, Graves, Jax, etc). I'm just a silver player but here are high Elo players opinions on the changes (the videos start when they talk about the jungle xp changes)

If Riot really want to see all jungler is do is camping 1 or 2 lanes then they are doing good fucking job.

In next 6 months jungler will become a bonus laner to a randomly selected lane, soaking XP from lanes gives now a decent XP, in the future it'll be main XP source probably

Duo top could make a comeback. With one person still running smite to secure objectives. Top lane could become even more important than bot lane with them fighting over Rift Heralds too.

Kingstix is always informative and makes very good points in this video.

I will say that not all junglers even challengers via replays I have seen can keep up with solo laners in exp now.

With these changes it will be even worse especially with no catch up xp and scuttle still not being reverted (main reason there is no diversity in jungle and why combined with lower exp camps with high respawn we are seeing so much funneling (monster hunter is back btw ninja patched in) and so many early red buff/gank heavy junglers.

With nerfed exp we would either expect a comeback of the funneling strat, or super strong level 2 junglers ganks.

I think that Jg's should be behind because they have the advantage of ganking. If they keep up with everyone then it becomes very hard for some champs to do anything in the lane, this is just how I see it though.

Pants literally managed to hit Rank 1 Challenger in NA, and he's ended within the top 15 players in NA for the past 4 years, and has always been within the top 5 junglers in NA since Season 6. He's pretty damn good at this game.

I know that, but he only started hitting top 10 last 2 seasons when riot started screwing up the game. I am pretty sure he is happy with the direction riot is taking the game, aka. insane dmg/burst, uncounterable mechanics and a far more chaotic playstyle. It kinda makes sense though, since he only plays soloq and he is a versatile player, that can abuse the latest FOM builds.

Not even making this shit up, he literally stated this in one of his recent videos.

Source? I know pants occasionally duos with fwii, who has been accused of win trading with different people named Murongjiansheng and Kist, but fwii almost never matches up against pants and even in the games they are against each other, fwii doesn't seem to feed in games against pants.

Also, I highly doubt Pants win trades, considering he livestreams most if not all of his games on his facebook.

We could reduce the XP even further, so that junglers are only lvl 1 after first camp and hit level 2 after killing a large monster in the second camp. This would stop the silly level 2 ganks. Of course camps would need to do less damage at level 1 to allow this.

Also, have it so that the jungle item (machete, talisman and upgrades) give a bonus to jungle camp XP, up to a maximum of 10 stacks (1 stack per camp). This would be an incentive to stay in the jungle early game. For this to work the current jungle XP needs to decrease. Also reduce the spawn timers of jungle camps.
