so I have been playing kalista and trying to get better but i seem to lose more often and im thinking maybe its me so i decided to work on some stuff and watch my replays and I realized 80% of my supports are so useless they do nothing they stand around and watch me farm and get pushed back there stupid

they have no idea how to support I've had one good support today the rest are either stupid and troll or miss all there skill shots so its not completely me

this is why i play top lane lol league

Why are you starting spellthiefs item 3303 ?

Yeah, the build is definately pretty bad. I'd be pretty skeptical if my adc Kalista started STE too. A little after 29 minutes is when the gold passive evens out (without any tribute procs, and never being upgraded).

With such a suboptimal buildpath (barring hurricane), the blame for losses is definately not solely on the support. OP is definately carrying a bit of that on themselves.

Well if u start STE instead of Dorans, you automatically lose lane. You give up on sustain it provides, u give up on early damage, hp

you do more dmg with spell then dorans you can test it for yourself you can make them waste there 1 pot first then you have 2 other pots too keep pushing

the only disadvantage is the 80 plus health but that goes away real quick with 1 or 2 autos

U dont have sustain. U dont have AD. Kalisa doesnt have any AP scaling. Dorans Blade gives u 8 damage against everything.Your abilities scale with AD. Im sorry, but no. There is no reason to start Spellthiefs and buying it means u giving up on lane from start. Thats why in most of your games, you are one who gives first blood. You have 0 lane power.

thiefs does the same dmg as long sword plus the gold cause kalista is literally a scaling adc the faster her items come in the better plus i watched the gameplay not saying I always do good but i main support so i know a good one when i see one

Except you're not really being gold efficient when you're not building it into anything. It's not helping you through laning phase with sustain or AD (which helps on spells) unlike Doran's Sword.

no its great actually i still get the dmg of a long sword plus gold my issue is im not good at adc and still learning i just wrote down yesterday what I was doing wrong and what i could do better and im winning now its written right next to me

The long sword is overall more efficient, as it increases your crit damage once you have hurricane built as well as the bolt damage, and the damage of your abilities ALL the time, not just when tribute charges are up, and any lifesteal from runes/masteries.

The gold would be nice if you didn't have to stop CS'ing to proc it after being in lane already.

Again, it's not really as gold efficient, since long sword builds into some core items, so you can get those items built faster. The tribute gold isn't going to add up fast enough to be as gold efficient. Long Sword + Potions is a better start

Many people playing support tend to be useless, which is why I switched from adc to sup. Lots more at least 'ok' adcs out there, may as well replace the weakest link since I can do it well.

Too many people think support is 'easy', and hence never play it, and hence do terrible when they find themselves filled to it.

start at 4 mins and test it out for yourself now the difference is im not a good adc cause i know a good adc will make this amazing but i run this on illoai all the time and even when i die first, Im still able to keep up and win lane ive done it so many times plus you can get over 1000+ gold in one game and thats for regular games not drawn out ones plus im always into scaling then flat dmg
