Plat 1 help?

TrickeryZ - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

So im a support main, and im in this weird plat 1, but i feel like im going to get stuck at this rate. Some of my high diamond friends/master have told me that high plat 1 - low diamond 3, the games are purely based on luck and who you get. As a support main its kinda annoying when i get these games like ezreal mid who ik is going to lose, but nothing i can do to carry him off. I understand as a support (epsically in higher elo) i should roam more if im playing a play making support (aka thresh, etc) but right now if im not honest, most play making supports are terrible, espically since they keep nerfing relic shield. Ive been trying to pick up shield supports but i cant really help out other lanes, and usually get mid/top to fed alot. Anyone know a way i can get past these ranks so i can get high diamond/master/ or even challenjour :) Ive also told to try switching lanes to mid or adc to help carry or even jg, just like to hear tips to get past these ranks, thank you!

First thing I noticed is you die a lot, not a feeding amount but a fair amount. Try to bring down those deaths if you want to climb. Second, I'd have to watch you play a game to judge you mechanically but i'm just going to assume your fine with that (Always room for mechanical improvements btw).

You buy pinkwards which is great but sometimes you might need more. Always keep 1-2 on you at all times. Make sure you get a scanner (which you do so that's ok). make sure you ward smartly not just some badly placed wards. Know how to ward against kha zix and other stealth champions.

You take ignite a lot which is fine but keep in mine sometimes exhaust will be better.

The games you win your kda is alright but it's still death heavy, and the games you lose, could be because of how many times you died, please try to keep that number down even if the game is clearly a loss.
