garen passive and shit is broken?

alright, so ive been playing top alot in duoqueue, and met all sorts of garens... Grasp+dorans blade/dorans shield, Fervor+dorans blade/dorans shield, and i mean, he does alot of damage, level 2-3 with his E, then on top of that is that bullshit thing for a savvide, wich makes a mana dependent champ useless, then finally you get ganked by their jungler, and you manage to kill that jungler, well, you just lost lane, cause after 6, youre the villain, so i mean, have fun dealing wth true damage garen that instakills you under 25% hp... #BS

You know when someone complains about a champ like Garen that they still don't know much about the game.

Garen is actually really trash as long as you're not the villain. He just doesn't do anything, even compared to other slow and stupid juggernauts. At least Darius has a lot higher theoretical damage output if he catches his target, Garen's isn't all that impressive even when he does.

And he's not that great against melees either as if they have any form of hard CC(which almost all viable melee toplaners do) they can just stun you out of your Q animation and then walk away, winning the trade. And if he can't silence you just dash out of his E, you're bound to have some form of mobility in League nowadays. He just sits in lane being useless for 15 minutes until he gets outscaled by everyone. There's a reason he's almost never picked in the higher ratings.
