Blind Pick Needs To Go

Hello community, i am writing to see if I am the only one who thinks that team builder adequately replaces blind pick and to see if you all agree with me that Riot should remove the option of blind pick from the game?

I play Blind normals the majority of the time. No bans means I am forced to play against, and learn how to play against, the OP FOTM champion that week. I also don't get to counterpick so I have to try to use my champion in whatever lane or role I end up in. And I just fill 90% of my games, so I don't really want to Team Build because I'm more than happy to play any role and tend to be proficient in all of them.

I'd really like Team Builder to be good enough to do this.

As it stands, I find that I can't play about half of the champions in team builder without 20+ minute queues. Team builder captains enforce the meta super hard, at least at my elo.

Blind pick can have its reason to exist, if they can make it completely blind, meaning you can't see both who enemies and allies pick and no chat box until in-game then it would have become it's own little niche.

Otherwise, without doing that Blind seems like an inferior version of Teambuilder.

Imo.

EDIT: But Teambuilder has its flaw too, it's lacking a champion changing function after you're inside a team for some strategic uses, it has to be implemented sooner or later.

That's how it originally worked but Riot found that testers would accept people and then harrass them to pick the fotm.

But that imo just defeats the purpose of "team building".

It should have been "locking role then pick champ" from the get go not together and unchangable afterwards.

Upon loading into the game, mages and assassins everywhere.

I disagree. The amount of team builder players is very low compared to blind pick. Team builder usually has players who care more about the team and usually have a good attitude. Blind pick has most of the trolling and immature players and I'd prefer to not have them in team builder.

Well blind pick is outdated considering teh adversities that have been created by riot from certain champs to others to jsut be plain unfair, and youre literally jsut CHANCING it in normals when yo uwant to practice your J4 and you get posted against a vlad. By the way thats not fun, especially when your practicing. Sequential picks jsut like ranked draft pick just minus the bans, because normals is getting REDICULOUS where you get counterpicked and then your team tells you to uninstall because you totally had a chance to beat the odds. blind pick is literally just a toxic generator where you might just be absolutely screwed before you know who your opponent is. Kinda stupid you still have this OUTDATED blind pick mode. Its just making QQ. Lots of it.

I personally don't feel any need to play Blind Pick for any reason whatsoever, but I don't see any reason to remove it either.

Blind pick is so people do not act like you are a scrub just because the other team decided to counter-pick.

If you don't want to play blind pick don't play it... it's pretty simple. Team builder takes much longer to find a game because it doesn't "force" anyone to fill a role.
