Help me i'm stuck, how do i escape?

MSPTra··1 votes·659 views

I am currently stuck in bronze 2 right now, I can play any role and do good with any role. I am the most skilled one among my friends and also the one with the most knowledge. In 1v1 i beat all of them. In 5 men queue I'm the leader i lead the team, most of the time we win but when we lose it's because we're not using any commor the enemy is darn good. but somehow my friends are in higher rank then me and so far i'm still stuck here.

Here's my recent experience a mid laner insta lock zed then he feed. Top laner who refuse to go tank lead to me build bruicer as a mid laner i don't mind it but we lost, To be honest most of the time my teammates have no idea what they are doing but refuse to listen to me anyway. This happened to me 70% of the time.

Going top lane: bot lane lose, tp and try to help lose top tower, walk back, their top laner is winning in cs and my jungler is still taking top camp so no dragon.

Going jungle: gank top once then i said to top laner play safe and put ward i'm ganking bot to get dragon, a few moment later top laner deep in lane no ward get ganked,

Going mid roam a few time life is good but jungle and bot still don't know what objective is.

Bot lane i don't play adc much but when i do i know how to trade and anything but jungle never gank so never had a chance for dragon, their jungler gank once force us to back they got dragon.

This is only the 70% the other 30% my team are like god, work as a team better then SKT and i got 16points

Keep telling bot that your objective is bot tower>dragon>top tower Where you switch with top and get top tower. but never switch or get dragon.

Most of bronze player spend time walking around do nothing and what i hate the most is when they see a huge wave of our minion at bot then they thought they could get tower when they are at top lane so they decide to walk there just in time for the opponent to show up and no matter how many time you ping they be like nah this turret is mine. Instead going to get the enemy jungle is a better thing to do to get ahead.

No troll or anything "like get better at the game" please.

Stick to 2-3 positions, It helps a lot, if you constantly change your role while in low elo, you will have one hell of a bad time climbing. Looking at your games, you are at a 50% win rate, so are where you should be according to statistics. Just work hard and you will start climbing.

Dont try to main every champion in the game either, its best to have a small pool to start out with. Expand it as you get better.

i can understand what you are trying to say. i am sticking to 2 positions in serious solo ranked. but according to the statistics it doesn't show how you do in the game and who you are teaming up with. i tried my best, the match making system doesn't seem to be on my side.

i have a champion pool that work like rock paper scissors if they pick rock i can counter them with paper so on and so forth. this is for top lane and mid lane. my way of picking jungle and those 2 lanes is depend on enemy team and my team. i know pretty well how to pick my champ i don't think i have to go into details because i don't think this is the reason that i'm having issue with.

The statistics do show how you do in game and if you have the sense to look, who you are queuing with. So dont try to discredit stats, It tells what type of player you are and can tell us how many games it takes you to tilt. It all takes knowing what to look for. But it does show how you do in game, KDA, Build, Gold, CS and where you are in lane at what time.

i'm not trying to discredit the stats, i just don't think that the stats goes into deep details. can you explain to me why my friends are in a higher rank than me?

Just my thoughts and opinions.

  1. You seem to play duo or triple Q with friends and while that does help climbing early on it also gives false hope and honestly will hurt your performance in a number of ways as your not really focusing on YOUR game but instead trying to help them and vice versa. Play alone for a while and you will see improvement on your side as you will "toughen up" and be able to carry atleast out of bronze.

  2. Your last 14 games you picked different roles you pick adc then mid then back to adc then top etc etc.
Pick a role and stick with it for more than 1 game, even you have a bad game IT'S OK just Q up again and try it again at least give that role another chance before moving on to another and keep flip flopping between roles.

  3. Riven just isn't your type of champion 5 games and 0 wins. While you can always pick her up again and get better down the road I would just remove her in your champion pool all together. When you play Riven and die your team will react with "Riven mains" and will just look down at you as a "garbage player" who can only play OP champions or something. She is also a risky pick. While you might be good on her and not give kills away you can't say the same to your teammates as each solo Q game is around the 80-100 in kills total and if you don't get a huge lead on her while the enemy team and feasting on your team you will get destroyed especially if your the top that needs to be a tank but instead a 2 shot champion Riven but vice versa.

  4. Stick with Nasus. Nasus is a good pick in solo Q because people seem to think Nasus needs 700 stacks to dominate but that's not true Nasus only needs 150 early before the 20 min mark to be a champion that people will need to run away from. JUST PLAY SAFE and just farm dont' worry about kills they will come just stay patient and farm. The whither is also a very underestimated ability as it lasts for 5 years.

Champions that I would suggest you playing in Bronze TOP Nasus Maokai(he has a stun and gap closer and has an ult that is a fitting place for Bronze players as everyone in solo Q wants to fight 24/7 so protecting your team with your ult helps, also has a Q that does decent dmg early and a poking E. Garen(Easy point and click)

^^^^^^^^ Champions can be in different roles such as Wu for top and jungle. Quicker this way you can read the champions abilities yourself TOP Chogath Garen Malphite Maokai Nasus MonkeyKing JNG Vi Trundle XinZhao MID Brand Malzahar ADC Lucian MissFortune SUP Alistar Braum Nautilus

  1. normally I'd play alone, but playing with my friend help me to enjoy the game more and also it ensures me that there will be less unskilled player in the game, this is only when I play to enjoy, When I play to climb I normally play solo. i don't normally play solo because of the problems that i have encountered. these problems make the game unenjoyable. i don't play with my friend in placement I tried my best in the placement did not win much and the game was hard most of my team mates are unskilled i tried everything, did well myself and tried to help them. still lose more then win. but as i watch my friends play in the placement they did nothing completely nothing then somehow his team win him the game and he got place above me, this hurt me so much to be honest

  2. for the last few month i didn't play to win but i played to enjoy i pick whatever role i feel like playing.sometime, i feel like giving people what they want, maybe it might make them feel good so they do good, therefore sometime i give up my lane for the other. as i told you the game isn't enjoyable as much as before so i have to do something to entertain myself picking here and the help me be more excited.

  3. I play riven in ranked is because i had a good opportunity i see that i could snowball so why not. but after i had a few kills and the turret is down, i help the others. in the mid game somehow my allies have little to no idea how to close out of a game. so riven late game don't do that good then we lose. the other times i picked riven is because i enjoy her and i don't mind losing cause i already gave up but still the opportunity to snow ball is still there. i'm not the riven main type of guy don't worry. i just enjoy her that's all.

  4. at this point i'm thinking that you thought of me as a 12 years old kid in front of a computer screen who have no idea how league of legends work. bro please i'm not new to this game. i normally have my nasus stack, at 20 my stack is 300 by 30 it's almost 500. and that is about where it end.

in this case i'm asking you how to escape not how to pick champion in bronze.

so how can i escape bronze when my allies are unskilled and stubborn players?????

  1. Far from the truth. I said certain champions for you to play and honestly there good for what I call "the babysit". You just have to babysit your teammates if you can't win the game yourself when you have a lead. Sorry but there is no secret way to escape bronze, with the exception of playing good AOE teamfighting champions that are tanky enough to peel for them.
"in this case i'm asking you how to escape" - Besides certain champions picked and personal skill you just have to "get good and carry " it's not the answer you are looking for but there is no secrets to escape bronze but to just carry. _ hope you get out laters!

can you go into details on how to carry... i've been wondering if what i'm doing is right anyway thanks a lot, i appreciate that you are trying to help.

I don't want to give you false hope or anything and I want you to know there are some people called B+ players not everyone is cut out to be good at everything.
So I want to say this first and foremost the last thing I want is to upset you or anyone else that is stuck in B.

First off I'm Silver 5 ATM was Silver 1 one game shy of Gold 5, So take my opinions and advice with a grain of SALT PLEASE because I'm not a Diamond player however you start first grade before 9th grade so having advice from people who understands the struggle is VERY important in my opinion.

I'm going to have my topics on how to carry in ( ) If you see a topic that sounds like I'm patronizing you, you can skip it without possibly skipping a different type of topic.

(PERSONAL PREFERENCE) You seem like a player that either just wants to farm early and not die 24/7 so the Nasus is a good fit for you and/or a player that wants to make a play for his team while being dominate in lane similar to MonkeyKing) So picking tanky champions I think will benefit you but remember that you need to "carry" your team so if you can just play safe and cs and not die you are helping the team. While playing the tanky champions you can buy 1-2 items as tanks don't need 50 items to be a factor they only need 1 maybe 2 items to be productive as your main job is to just (tank). Players in low elo will not fight with you unless you TANK EVERYTHING, you need to be that 1 man army in teamfights. Nasus-Wu-Darius-Mal-Mao are all good front line champions that will give you the ability to carry the s$itters on your team while still getting the respect that you deserve with the dmg that they all do.

( RUNES THAT GOT ME OUT OF BRONZE) How I got out Bronze was picking certain runes to help with my champions either weaknesses or my team. I play Top alot and mainly tank champions so why not just be a Super Tank! I play/played with these runes with the champions that I listed above I would run

           Flat Armor REDS 0.91 armor
HP Per LVL YELLOWS 1.33 HP per Level
MR Per LVL BLUES 0.16 MR per Level
           Flat Armor Quintessence 4.26 armor

You won't have at the start AD only your base AD to begin with, Nasus will be at 59 AD // Wukong will also be at 59 but each gets around 3-4 AD per level. Malphite gains more DMG off his Passive( 10% HP so you can just build HP/MR items since you're already fine with the Flat Armor items and will that much flat Armor your W will not only tank it will do lots of Dmg also.

Most top players are going to be AD so having the flat armor at the start helps, while you are still gaining and scaling up your HP and MR for the roaming/Teamfighting stage around 20-30 mins.
It also helps when your facing AP top Champions also as all you need to do is build item 3065 item 3102 for the HP and MR while still having 48-50 Armor at the start of the game so you can build HP to balance the Armor and HP out.
Playing Nasus with the runes that I listed above WON'T HURT him in any way as your just going to farm and play safe anyways and your team should know " Ok X player is playing nasus he will scale" Wukong is fragile at the start of the game as it's his weakest point until mid/late so being a tank at the start helps as most cases you normally do/should build item 3071 first anyways and you get like 200 HP from just the phage alone so having half an item completed that gives you 200HP and gives you 15 AD while still having 48-50 armor without buying any armor items yet, You're pretty much stronger at level 4-5 than most Top champions by level 10 because of your flat armor runes and scaling HP/MR runes.

( SUMMS ) Now I can't really tell you how to go by on how and when to use your summs in game because I don't watch your games and each game is different but I will say DON'T EVER EVER use your summoner 12 when your lane CS is already pushed to the enemies tower during the lane phase IT'S a WASTE you can instead just walk to lane and by the time you get back to your tower the lane Cs will even back out again as no one freezes anymore because of the Extra $ for first tower, save the TP for your team and believe me you will have PLENTY of chances to do so as I stated before people in low elos LOVE TO FIGHT 24/7.

I don't really know what else to say to you or any more advice/opinion to help you.

thanks a lot :D I've been saving up for runes. my last game was a 4v5. my team is 5 the enemy is 4 and we lost the game. somehow Nid jungle manage to go and feed every lane. i'm starting to think that i should quit league.

III BAKURYU III 1 votes

You gotta ask yourself DO I want to quit? If you really want to quit playing- quit playing! The Wins should be hard because it's a win, if winning is so easy EVERYONE would be Winners!

How long have you played League and be specific because playing 2 games in 4 months don't count, it needs to be consistent. 10 games per week is consistent.
You're not going to be Diamond or Plat or rude of me but Gold even, the wins WILL come I promise you that, the more you play the better you will get plain and simple.

If you are quitting because you're not winning but still having some fun in the Win/lose side of things that's a good thing.
Think about it like this work on your game and try to improve, I personally like to think like this ( I'm like a NBA player on a bad team that I know I will lose games but I can only get better trying to carry 4 garbage players on my team, I know for a fact the WINS will come in due time and I can finally show my true worth).

I'm just letting you know if you do keep playing and get out of Bronze, Silver isn't better it's not a picnic and people say Silver is still Bronze and Gold is still Silver and Plat even is Gold, it doesn't matter where you are. Give people advice on these boards and improve yourself and the competition will be improved not just for you but for the "low elo " tiers.

Keep playing if you enjoy the game if not - Quit no shame in that.

started playing this game about 3 years ago... i'll keep trying hopefully get out of bronze before this season end. thanks for all the advice man i appreciate it :D you keep doing what you're doing you'll escape silver 1. i believe in you brother.

III BAKURYU III 1 votes

Indeed but only 2 years of ranked. 96-117 and 86-86 are not bad records and your stats that go with them aren't too bad either all considering where your at right now.
Just stay patient and relax, remember can't win them all but sure can improve in each game.

  • Thanks but i don't think I will get to gold this year, mainly because I fell from Silver 1 to Silver 5 with 10 LP so can you say " tilt" a little bit XD, next year for me hopefully.
  • Take it easy laters
