LP is garbage

A friend and I are trying to duo are way to Plat this season. We were at the exact same pace for almost the entire time. NOW!!! right before I was about to get in my Silver III promos, it decides to award me one less point than my friend even though I carried as hard or even harder than he did. Now I have to play a whole extra game to get into my promos. If you ask me, that's bull. But it's not my game and I'm playing it anyway but Riot, you guys make it really hard to enjoy sometimes. Thanks for reading my rant.
