Malzahar needs to ditch the voidlings

I understand that the mage rework brought Malzahar to the spot light, and Riot determined that voidlings where the thematic aspect of my favorite champion. They added so much power to the voidlings that Malzahar had no power left for any of his real spells. Since the rework, voidlings die instantly if an enemy champion attacks them. I get this is to provide counter play, but that is a fail move. Zyra's plants do more damage, and can have more of them out. Yorick, Shaco and Heimerdinger all have better stats. Voidlings have the lowest base damage and health. They are also the only pet that has the stipulation that they instantly die to an auto attack. Let's fix this by removing voidlings from his kit entirely. We can add a new spell that will truly embody the "Prophet of the Void" theme. Something like;

Ravenous Swarm - Target Range: 650 Effect Radius: 650 Cost: 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 MANA CoolDown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 Duration: 4 seconds Malzahar summons a horde of ravenous fangs to a target location. The fangs attack nearby enemies prioritizing victims of Malefic Visions, any champion range, and finally any target in range. If the target is afflicted with Malefic visions, the fangs bite at the victim's soul, inflicting grievous wounds. Magic Damage per second: 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+30% AP)
