New Rank System

This new rank system really supports the idea of only going through one role and not changing at all. Also placements make no sense, I won like the 8 out of the ten games (this is off my head so I'm not 100%) and I got iron? Now personally I'm bronze but I did really good through most those games and I was hoping for at least high bronze. This new season just makes me want to not play rank in general and stick to norms with my friends and I really hope Riot can at least take in consider to most of the hate of this new season, but most of the time they really just don't care and just force these changes but it be really cool if they can just go back, or even think of a better idea of the new rank. Where do you get that idea? Takes less than a month to get where you belong on your main and you can spend the rest of the season learning other positions without worrying about it dropping your main.
