Voice chat

I can not see a good argument as to why is there still no voice chat in the game?

Voice chat brings the ability for a player to strategically plan out strategies or power-plays in a matter of seconds. Now we have to type everything out which takes a long time. Also typing in a teamfight would be dumb, but for example if you wanted to shot-call in teamfights in soloQ, you can do it with ease using voicechat.

I really don't get why RIOT does not add voice chat, the time is now, as the game is getting more and more strategic and objectives need a lot of planning, there really is no counter argument.

You could say that the voice chat could be sometimes used for verbal abuse, yes, but that's why there's the mute button. Also, people actually behave better over voice than text.

I agree, especially since how unfair it is for solo players in dynamic queue playing with or against premades that are using external voice communication. If LoL a had an in-game voice communication, it would be a lot fairer. Plus I do think toxicity will drop, once people are talking with each other. Many people may rage in text chats with random strangers, but will behave themselves if they know they are talking to actual people.

Because people have played Counter Strike and WoW and Call of Duty and Halo with voice chat and it's a nightmare of 12 year olds screeching profanity at you because they think it makes them cool.

Riot investigated how people behaved over voice chat and they found players behaved FAR FAR WORSE than text chat, especially in regards to racist and sexist remarks. Player behavior wasn't even in the same ballpark between the two.
