Gank or no gank?

To the fellow junglers out there, a discussion has been heated up for some time ago about wether to gank or not to gank a losing lane.

There are of course some factors that we need to take in consideration:

How big is the actual lead of the enemy? What champions are being played bot? And how well are you doing yourself?

Decpite these factors a lot of top laners, midlaners and botlaners apparently do not understand why junglers does not do what they normally do (gank everywhere apparently) and in this case, avoid ganking specific lanes. For the past few months now, I have mained jungle and to a surprise, people still complain and beg about not being ganked even though, they are a losing lane.

Some say it is a unspoken rule, the junglers paradox, law of the jungler to not gank losing lanes. I'm beginning to doubt wether this is wrong due to all the people complaining and saying it is wrong. So I just want to have things clear and hear what other junglers does. It is like people do not know about this "Rule/law" of the jungler.

Cheers ty.

Ofc there are exceptions but in general you should avoid a losing lane and focus on the winning lane.

here are some exceptions: you are after an objective, like drake or baron you even more ahead, so you are confident you can shut down the enemy player without help from the laners late game game plan, eg: you have 4 tanks and 1 adc, you'll need to get that adc ahead no matter what, else your team'd have no damage

otherwise ganking a losing lane is generally a no no, too much risk and not much reward.
