Ranking System

I won seven of my provisionala and got bronze three.... but the thing is I am fine with it except the fact that I carried my games pretty hard and I was mostly with and against silver players. If you are carrying silver players quite hard and get bronze three I think there is a problem...

They should reinvent the entire League ranking system. Instead of being judged by the amount of wins you get for your ranking. Our rank should be decided by how good we do at our roles in games. (C,B,A,S). Since Dynamic Que is meant for people to choose their own roles, Riot can sort who plays what role. We just sometimes have bad games where we make a simple mistake and we get snowballed or we just have a team that doesn't play at the same level that you do. So Riot judging our own skill level by our teams teamwork and skill just seems a little unjust. So please riot, fix this game.

Ill bump this. You still lose LP in a 4v5 when a player never connects.

Plus I hate to say it, but Riot is one of the worst companies in regards to their customer service/ customer value.

They probably won't even read this, and if they do they probably wont do anything about it.

The new ranking system depends on how you play they said. While I do agree the change they made where we gain a tad more than we lose on average is amazing (thank you riot), I don't believe what they said about it depending on how you do in game is necessarily true. I just played a game as leblanc where I carried very hard. I understand as a leblanc player it could sound like i was stealing kills like mad but at the end of the game I had the most damage dealt to champions as well as all around (like twice as much as anyone else). I lost 21 league points that game, of course the next game I win I will most likely get those points back, plus a few more. Aside from having the most damage output (which isn't too hard as leblanc I know) I made great plays with my E where i snared their key players so my team could bounce on them and then destroy there team as I jumped in and out. We lost the game because my team decided to initiate a team-fight without me and our ADC being there, then because it was just us two and their whole team was at full strength with baron buff we couldn't hold them off. I don't think that I deserved to lose that many league points, the same thing has happened before where I do well and my team doesn't do so hot but I carry for a while and they throw it by doing something less than smart, usually while I am spamming the danger or retreat ping. Riot, I personally think the new ranking system is a lot better but you did tell us it would be based a little more on personal skill, please try to find a better way to measure this or don't tell us these great ideas unless it becomes true. This is a team game for sure, but all league players are tired of getting sloppy teams and losing massive Lp for others mistakes. Please consider my request. :)

8/2 bronze V seems legit right coming from someone that plays support frequently due to people just simply, not wanting to. This system seems very uneven generally my goal from start to finish is wining for my team. I find that frequently a heavy bias is placed on members of the team that get kills, regardless of actual affect in the match in terms of the team wining (i.e. roaming for assassinations as apposed to helping the team achieve a game changing / finishing goal / push). The root problem it seems to me is there is no value put on good strategic play in order to achieve a bigger goal than simply: the next kill. A good place for reference would be team sports, many different people with different skill sets coming together to work to achieve a common goal.

I just had A+ or S+ in every single match except the first.... won 5 out of 10 games cuz there was no way to win the other matches but I got bronze III ..... I was fine with Silver III last season but BRONZE?! Whats wrong with you guys?

funny how i lost 8 of my 10 games, was utter shit at making plays, farming, ganking, terrible kda, and yet i get silver 2 opposite result but still fuck you riot this is bullshit, now i'm legit 'boosted', by RITO GAMES

i wont 7 of mine with an average of 20 kills 5 deaths a game. got bronze 2 love it

Placements don´t determine where you end your ranking in S5. They determine where you start and how long you need to get to your desired goal.

Ranking is a grind. And when you are not able to grind your way up the ladder, maybe you are meant to stay where you are in the ladder. Dont blame "elo-hell" or your teammates. Do better then them and you have the possibility to climb.

Talking: Player that was bronze 4 in S3, silver 2 S4 and now got placed in gold 5 in S5.
