Champions that aren't worth buying

Here's a quick list of champions I feel are underpowered or the rewards for mastering their skill cap aren't worth the effort. I just want to warn others not to waste their hard-earned IP on these champions when other champions will do the same job better and make climbing the ranks easier. I'd like to hear your opinions on this list.

Amumu underpowered? What are you smoking? His ult is one of the best in the game, and with cinderhulk he's up there with Sej and Grag as the best tank junglers.

I think it's depressing when people pick champions only because of how easy it is to play them and/or to use them to climb in rank, rather than picking champions that they actually like and enjoy the playstyle, character and skillset of, and then spending the time to master that champion.

Gangplank, I understand. He is rather underpowered, but he will be getting a rework soon (supposedly). Those whom I don't understand are Rammus (godlike CC, built in thornmail, targeted taunt), Udyr (multiple play styles, including Tank, Tigudyr, Flamedyr, etc.), Brand (Heavy CC for a mage, good damage, solid lane bully), Amumu (literally the King of CC, falls just short of Nautilus as the God of CC, solid tank with cinderhulk in the jungle), and Shaco (Level 2 Cheese, AP and AD scaling for different play styles, good escape, good clear). What, in your opinion, makes these champions weaker than others?

Amumu is an amazing tank and is only 450ip, he's a great pick for a simple jungler if you're learning to jungle. Brand is extremely strong in the tank meta because of his passive, Rammus is near unkillable with his w up, another good beginner jungler. Anivia, Shaco, Singed and Udyr are strong when you play to their individual strengths, same with any champion, really. Play champs more suited to your playstyle and have fun. The more you like a champ, the more you'll want to learn more about them and their strengths and weaknesses.
