Aatrox Support New Meta?

Hey guys,

Being a Support main (which means I suck at LoL), I decided to create a new webseries "Troll Support" in which I try every champion as Support, except the ones people already play as Support. I'm doing it alphabetically, being Aatrox the first.

I know some of them can't be played in that role, but I'm doing it anyway for fun and to upload the highlights to Youtube.

About Aatrox: He has decent CC and can be played against champions without poke (Sona, Zyra or Karma would destroy Aatrox). I've played it against tank supports only. Alistar and Thresh had no chance. You put points on Q and E and you can trade easily when they engage. Aatrox has decent base stats, better than any tank Support. He lacks lower cooldowns on his CC (Q-Dark Flight) though. At rank 5, his Q has a 12 sec CD, which is a high CD. Building some CD reduction items can be good for him, especially Spirit Visage. How to build him? It depends on what your team needs and how the lane is doing. If you're ahead build damage, if not, build some tank items. Tiamat is always a good item to buy though.
