From Bronze 5 to Gold 5 in one season. This is what I learned.

ELO Hell is real.

After taking two accounts from Bronze 5, one to gold 5, the other to high silver 1. The one truth is that ELO hell is truly real, it's every rank and every division. The ELO hell as you know it, is simply the human race. They get jealous and angry and don't want others to succeed so they drag them down with their negativity. It will happen from bronze 5 - challenger.

SO, if you cannot handle the ELO hell, this game is just not meant for you, and stop posting about ELO hell.

It's funny that people say "elo hell" because i started in silver, i was placed silver 2 and i stayed there for at least a season and a half. i played everyday to improve my skills to carry my team. I managed to get to plat 1 in season 3 and season 4 i managed to get to plat 5, Either way im a plat player. all it takes is dedication and realizing what's a good play, whats a smart play and how you can improve on it. Also look at the different items you can get. Its all about itemizing with your kills, Should you go tank when you have enough damage? yes. A lot of people seem to forget that going straight damage all the time doesn't always help your team.

Many low elo players don't belong in low elo. The stress from ranked games is too much for people usually stuck in low elo so they play their promotions (carefully) and maybe play a a few ranked games. I believe many players belong in Gold instead of silver, but people that actually belong in bronze or silver are weighing down their progress to gold because not the entire team in silver belongs there, so they play like actual silver players as opposed to the player playing like a gold player making it difficult for the gold player to progress. Sorry if i'm confusing confusing.

Think of League of Legends like real life. Before I had any real world experience, when I was younger, I used to assume that as people got older that they had their lives together. But even as you get older, morons are still everywhere. Even in highly respectable professions, like Doctors and Lawyers. Just like in League, as you raise your rank, you still run into people that make you question how they manage to get through a normal day.

This is beyond hilarious and true. You meet the most incompetent individuals in every facet of life. Some appear to be within the double digit IQ range but somehow managed to achieve a PHD and secure a important positions.

The plays that make your jaw drop in awe at the sheer stupidity required in order to do such a thing are very similar to the decisions these individuals make in real life.
