Okay, so I understand having to acquire a specific amount of CS by a specific time. As well as a good KDA.. But when I play as Cait, I could have 13/1/5 with 226cs by 20 minutes but still only get an A+.. meanwhile when I play Xayah and get pretty much the same exact score or more kills and less CS i would get an s+ effortlessly ... how does this grading even work? It's just kind of frustrating trying to get an S with her ahah. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
Champion Grades are determined by comparing your score with 'that' champion against every other player who has used that champion, in that role.
So a Cait and a Xayah's scores use two completely different metrics. And, to further illustrate, a Cait mid will use a different metric from a Cait bot.
I think the problem you're facing stems from Cait having both been incredibly strong and popular for an extended time period. So you'll have a loooot of people who played her with the extremely good games (300+ CS) likely setting the S bar pretty darn high.
If you feel confident in your abilities with her, and can get the approval of your team mates, I would try playing her in alternative positions in non-ranked modes if you're trying to farm S's for tokens.
