Any1 know why ranked queues are disabled?

I have my suspicion that there's some network issues lately. My ping has floated near 50 since the server move, but lately I've been back up to 75. Add to that that my wife and I have started seeing massive packet loss. I played the last half of my last ranked game (last night, before the ranked queue was closed) lagging about 15 seconds behind the actual game. I still picked up 3 kills with Fiddles like that :) . Today my wife still had moments of lag, while I was stable the entire game.

It could be just a fluke with my ISP or my network, but seeing those troubles personally right before Riot took down ranked makes me think it's an issue on their side. FYI, I was about 75 ping before the server move, so it could be they're running off of the backup servers right now.

Can someone from Riot please give an update on the status of this issue. The status of these queues hasn't been updated for over a day now and since there is no update on the service status it is getting players worried about what the bug is. Even if the update is nothing more than "we are still looking into the problem" would be better than leaving the whole player base in the dark.
