I honestly don't get it. I don't get why people keep on whining about this champion. Now before you down vote this discussion and tell me to shut my main mouth up, let me explain. Firstly, I'd like to agree that is an annoying champion to deal with, 100% crit, high mobility, low cooldowns etc. I couldn't help but notice that most of the people complaining about are low elo. Now there's nothing wrong with being in low elo. I'm actually bronze myself (I know I'm trash no need to tell me). It's honestly really easy to deal with in my opinion, it might be because I main him so I usually know what the enemy wants to do. I suggest playing champions like and in the top lane against him, , , , , etc in the mid lane. If you're still struggling against him with those champions, just let him push lane and ask the jungler to camp your lane. If he wins 1v2 then I'm afraid you just need to "git gud" (bronze peasant telling someone to git gud LUL). Next thing I want to talk about is that some of the "Yasuo haters" don't hate for his kit, but for the people that main him. Honestly, I have to agree with you, most mains I get matched with are either feeders, the "ff at 20" type, or a flamer. One thing I've discovered is that most of the time if the person who picked demands someone to pick a "wombo combo" champ such as even though the top laner/jgler is not familliar with , they are usually a feeder. A good wouldn't need to rely on someone else get knockups. Of course having a is beneficial, but asking someone to pick a champion they are not familiar with and do not wish to play will basically result in an "ff at 20" game.
