As a silver 1 player in flex, I'm tired of seeing a player on the enemy team be bronze 4 in flex, but plat 2 with a 54% win rate in solo queue, and the matchmaker treats the person as if he's bronze 4. The ranks really should be tethered so that they can't differ by more than 4 divisions no matter what.
Would be nice, currently its treated as a completely different rank. You can be Challanger in solo/duo and play your first few flex games with silver players.
MMR matters and you are basically silver or so, Don't hold me on that but around there when you start playing ranked.
Bump! Riot, this problem seems to be getting worse and worse. I just played a game where the enemy team had:
Diamond 4, Plat 4, Gold 2, Silver 1, Unranked vs Gold 2, Silver 1, Silver 2, Unranked, Unranked
Of course it was in my promos to gold so I couldn't dodge...
