If i'm being matched with gold/sliver in normal draft will that be my elo in rank?

Nope... does nothing for Ranked. I frequently have matches where Plat-Ranked players appear when I do Normals.

There is a separate mmr for normals and ranked. The guy who said Elo is rank only, don't spit bs. OP normals is whatever, your would probably play with me in norms since I have only played maybe 5 norm games this season all against silvers but am plat 3. Rank is another beast

No, That is your MMR (Match Making Rank) Your elo is your rank
