Teemo.

Not really joking. Master Teemo and top lane is pretty much your bitch.

TheHappyReaperz1 votes

Yep, good Teemos are terrifying.

Scruberz2 votes

Azir imo

Wild Wes1 votes

43% winrate currently... Lowest winrate of ALLLLL mid lanes... ok Rammus

Scruberz1 votes

You asked which champion has the highest skill cap & will wreck once mastered. He is it.

Ya his win rate is atrocious because:

  1. He is a very difficult champion to play, at least to play well
  2. ziggs/vi/syndra/leblanc are super popular right now, along with a few other champions that Azir struggles with
Snowman Arc1 votes

Azir struggled a lot since his R and Soldiers' nerf. His win rate dropped a lot even in Challenger and it was pretty much never pick in professional ever since the nerfs. That's why his win rate is so low right now.

Sweet asir is on my list to play

Riven is a top laner that fits your criteria. Lee sin fits it for jungle, and Kat fits for mid lane. ADC wise, you'd be looking at Draven or Vayne. Yasuo could also fit in for top or mid. Each of these champs have good strengths and clear weaknesses (Most often CC and ranged harass, with all of them either being Melee or low range). They are also all champs that have a very big distinction between bad, good, and amazing mechanics. You can always tell between a good and a bad riven, or a godlike riven who spent months to years of practicing mechanics versus a mediocre one who picks her up because "she's op" (Which, she honestly isn't). ALL of these champions can be extremely strong when played right, with their kits utilized to their fullest.

No one considers Gnar as a high-mechanic champion though and in my opinion, he is harder than Riven or Yasuo and I'll explain why. He has to fill A LOT of purposes in a game. In the early game, where he stays in lane, he is mostly a ranged champion, since he doesn't get MEGAGNAR often. Therefore, you need ADC mechanics, where you poke with Autos and your Q, and you have an escape on E and a 3-hit proc on W. That said, your AA range is only 400 (getting to 500 at level 18), which is the lowest of all ranged champions, making AA poking harder than all of them, thus requiring great positioning and decision making to avoid minion aggro and retaliation. Also, he doesn't have resistances and hp regen early, so avoiding all damage is essential.

Then, it's the bar management. Knowing when to engage depending on the stage of the game and the situation you are in is highly dependant on your rage bar. It's better to be Mini when 1v1ing, especially after level 9, but have to be Mega when a teamfight breaks out. All these need careful management.

Also, as Megagnar, you need to also do a lot of things. A good engage is the most critical, if you fail that, you are useless as Mega. Then, you have to follow up on the damage with your abilties, inserting an AA inbetween for maximum damage efficient, and all that is hard in the cluster that is going on. And then, once you turn back to Mini, you are still the guy who has to deal the damage as an ADC, requiring high-DPS mechanics, kiting, dodging etc.

And all of these are topped off by correct itemization, masteries and runes, mostly itemization. It requires a lot of forward thinking on how you are gonna itemize for Gnar. Most people go for Frozen Mallet first, but this can change into a Cleaver or even a defensive item, depending on the game. Even after you get your Maller and Cleaver, which is the most optinal and snowbally buy, you need to think if it's best to buy a GA because teamfights are gonna break out, or are you just gonna stay in lane and buy a more Armour or MR specific item. All these are relevant to all champions, but on Gnar, they are so much more important, because of the fact that he has to fill many roles (ADC, fighter, tank, initiator), and thus having the correct items at the correct time for the correct purpose can be crucial and requires a lot of forward thinking.

OMG thank u for putting in the work for that coment ill be sure to read it when i pay gnar which will be my next game

veigar? press r isn't so difficult

Fertsa1 votes

unless he's atrociously fed, veigar can't 100 to 0 u with just his R, or even just R-Q and against a champion with any kind of panic button, his ult will only do anything if they are stunned*.

*and not tryndamere

mrchopme1 votes

Ill for sure try vicktor

Bellows2 votes

Why hasn't Draven been mentioned yet? IMO, though i dont play him, best carry potential for your time investment right there.

Volkri1 votes

He's a very good adc right now when paired with a strong support. Thresh/Leona/Bard synergize very well with him since they can really hold someone down. (Bard with his cc/slows/ult.)

GigaPube2 votes

literally....anything..... to a certain point, it should be about what singular mistakes you've made and how much they impacted you not carrying, and if you cant even identify these things, forget about ever thinking you'd become a "master"

Yasuo

Wild Wes2 votes

We already have enough Yasuo tryhards don't make more :(

Tyrone Lannister3 votes

Its attitudes like this that makes league players hate each other. Let people play what they want to play.

Snowman Arc2 votes

People hate on Yasuo mains because of their mentality. Most of them think they are the best players in the world because they think they are playing the hardest champion in the world.

Tyrone Lannister1 votes

Exactly, "Most". Generalizing a group of players doesnt help.

japan hate acc1 votes

I'm a Yasuo main, and yeah, there are harder champs out there. But Yasuo is difficult, too.

mrchopme1 votes

True though i dont really like yasuo sine snowballing isnt that high on him

JackMcSnipeyz1 votes

Lee sin is pretty iconic for being high skill cap. So is LB (easy to pick up hard to master) and new kat is also pretty tricky to manage all her daggers. If you wanna try a marksman, draven is probably the most mechanically complex and rewarding

Zen Ineth1 votes

I'd say Jhin is more mechanically complex than Draven. All you have to remember when playing Draven is that your axes move in the direction you last moved in, so if you're engaging on someone, you just run at them and you'll automatically pick up the axes.

With Jhin, you have to plan ahead (with traps), and two (technically three) abilities are skillshots.

Papa Slothy2 votes

but with draven, you can get triple axes going and dropping an axe makes your DPS drop by a huge amount. He also doesn't automatically pick up the axes as they set a few steps behind the location he will walk towards. Jhin is more about deciding when and how to fight more than actually outplaying.

Horuz1 votes

every champion it really doesnt matter the important part is to actually learn the champion very deeply realize that champions in general are waaay deeper than people give them credit for good example would be urgot a lot of people just dont play him because either the concept is too ugly which is a stupid reason to not get challenger imo or the other half doesnt play him because no one is playing him haha its actually a solid champion when mastered put in 5k games on any champion and you challenger when law of averages applies to you which on average it does haha :D

mrchopme1 votes

yeah lol

Risk of Fate1 votes

Ahri Orianna

Are probably 2 I would recommend. Ahri has a lot of choices in how to approach a fight while Orianna needs to keep track of her ball at all times requiring a lot of forethought.

thanks

probably people who can pull combos and plays out of thin fricken' air like Azir Yasuo Vayne

legionnaire991 votes

Riven Zed Yasuo Taliyah _Gangplank _

mrchopme1 votes

Omg sweet i have every one exept gangplank

legionnaire991 votes

Gangplank and Riven are my favorite of that list but I'm a top laner

Snowman Arc1 votes

To be honest, just try and adjust to how the meta is shifting. There is no point trying to learn a high skill cap champion just because it's probably more rewarding. Focus on mechanics like csing, dodging, hitting skillshots, and on macro play like correct warding, map movement and pressure and every champion is simple good enough to carry everything.

If you want maximum performance, try to play whatever is best currently. Syndra was the best midlaner for a long time because of how she snowballed. Do that because it's the most efficient. Of course, you can still play other things, but meta picks will probably pay off more.

Udyr / Singed - there's something to be said about being the biggest troll around, and running all over the place spamming laugh.

Rengar - people swear by him, and swear at him. If he managed to hold on to so many dedicated followers, maybe he is also for you?

Shaco - an honorable mention that no "high skill" list can do without.

Bard - Bard is there's something to be said about skills that can be miss-used. A situational kit, multiple failure modes for every skill and a kit built around being everywhere exempt besides the guy who needs a defender. what can possibly go wrong?

Thresh - probably one of the most mechanically challenging champions in league. no easy mode damage and "press to outplay" panic buttons here: rather, a kit that is versatile balanced by sub-par stats.

Ashe - skill isn't just having an out and using it. It's also not having an out, and managing without it. but you probably won't like her because you enjoy being on the killing side of the hunter/prey gameplay paradigm.

Kalista - APM training for league required

Pantheon - actually requires skill at the game to "get right". Don't tell anyone because they all think he's easy-mode.

mrchopme1 votes

I have ashe pantheon and udyr PS i love the way u formated that its so much easier to read

Lauchmelder1 votes

Azir - Don't get fooled, his earlygame is utter garbage. If you can get to full build he's a monster though.

Cassiopeia - insane lvl 2 powerspike, if played well she can get a lead there and keep it going.

Riven - "it's only button mashing". Learn animation cancelling on her and you'll be loved by your team and hated by your enemies.

mrchopme1 votes

awesome ill prob try all of them they were all on my list

Yasuo Vayne Riven Orianna LeeSin Katarina Camille

Top Lane- Akali Kled Renekton Riven Shen Singed MonkeyKing Yasuo

Jungle- Elise Hecarim Ivern Khazix Kindred RekSai Shaco Zac (and LeeSin but not many agree)

Middle- Akali Anivia AurelionSol Azir Heimerdinger Kassadin Katarina Orianna Ryze Syndra Taliyah Talon Vladimir Zed

ADC- Draven Jhin Kalista Twitch Varus Vayne (don't be offput by the small pool, if's just so little can fit into this role since it's only one class)

Support- Bard Soraka Thresh (most Supports themselves don't have a high skill cap when compared to others since their role in general is usually the hardest since it's "Carrying the Carry")

Based on who you said, I would recommend trying out some of the Assassins in the Jungle and Middle Lane. (Ex.: Elise Khazix Shaco Kassadin Talon )

I would like to thank everybody who comented i realy apreciate it. that was my first post so it felt very welcomeing to comeback a day later and have a 15 chmpion list to gring out.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH

RIP TSM1 votes

For mid lane, i suggest you Cassiopeia . Shes actually pretty strong and has high kiting potential with item 3116 . The only thing i dont like, you cant buy boots, and your good speed kinda depends on landing Q . I have cheesed ppl with at level two when i grab summoner 14 You q then e your mana bar away with ign

Papa Slothy1 votes

judging by your champ pool, Yasuo or Camille

Incarceration1 votes

Yasuo can be shut down too easily.

Gangplank Riven Draven Ryze I think those guys could be your best choice. They don't get shutdown too easily, and when mastered, have very few weaknesses.

Honorable Mentions: Taliyah People have a very high winrate with her after 125 games. However, she still has many weaknesses. Katarina She'll probably receive a nerf soon.
