Should Xerath have an ultimate like Jhin?
What I mean is not Jhin's ultimate itself, but you know, when Jhin ults the screen pulls back and you as a player are given are wide conical view of WHERE the shots are going to be fired.
I was thinking why not do the same for Xerath (not the conical view ofc, whatever Xerath's ult's range is.)? Xerath's low mobility makes it a hassle to always move the cursor out of the screen and hope your shots land, all the while you are rooted in place. There have been many games where I was rooted and couldn't really see if an enemy was sneaking up on me or not.
All I'm saying is allow me to use Xerath's ult without having to lose vision of Xerath himself. I don't know whether it would be considered a buff I doubt it will, I mean you still have to hit your enemy with your shots. I think all it does it give you a bit more awareness while using the ultimate.
We can argue that "Why not give it to every "snipe" champion then? Like Lux"
Well Lux's ult is pretty quick. You aren't quite vulnerable in the short time a Lux needs to ult. With Xerath though people forget you have 10 seconds to finish the 3 shots. I see many people just shoot the 3 shots quickly, yet for people like me who take their time and play mind games with the enemy, 10 seconds is a life/death situation if say, you're using your ult from the jungle.
Maybe it's just me, or maybe I'm just bad with Xerath, but I really do think we as a player should have the freedom to hit his ult WITHOUT losing site of Xerath himself. It makes him look omnipotent and omnipresent.
So yeah what do you people think? Good idea? Bad idea? Will make Xerath a casual? Will it suck out the fun of his Ult? Lemme know. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
