With the removal of the tier 3 support items and their merging with sightstone does that mean that the previous tier 3 support items' actives will no longer be available?
For instance:
Face of the Mountain's active (or passive for that matter) shield?
The Spooky Ghosts??

Seriously though, will those still be around in addition to the wards or did they just remove **three incredibly pivotal support item abilities? **
Riot has said that they plan to bring some of the items' actives back on new items. So they aren't gone for good, but indeed they are gone for now. It's frustrating but hopefully Riot does right by the players and the game still.

It seems they tried to somewhat sweep that under the rug.
Yes, Riot literally did just remove five items and cause collateral damage through the restrictions rather than admit design fault, acknowledge that the gold gen items got overtuned and nerf them.
