To Riot - The Ranking System now created bad atmosphere...

As titled.

I got 8W2L in my provisional, given that 1 of the lost due to a rage quitter who yelled for mid / top then lost then rage quit.

I am kind of easy-going, so I would just fill usually, and, you know, people who filled usually got sup.

If I am right, I played 5 sup(4W, with 1 got rage quitter in my team, and of course I lost), 1 mid, 1 top (ok I was not good in that game, lost) 1 jungle

And what I got is: Silver V.

What I think is hey, that is not even fair... Being a good support won't let you get a higher rank, even you are strong with that. No matter how much CC you made (I had one game with 1000+ CC dealt), this system simply did not appreciate what you have done.

No wonder we have so many rage quitter in the game - this is simply because if you did not get adc/mid/top role, you cannot get a good score, hence a good rank.

Riot, this is really an issue that you have to fix it.

Your placement was due to where your MMR was at prior to the new season, same as everyone else. Placement matches no longer give free enormous promotions far past where the person belongs, and doesn't give enormous demotions just for doing bad in a mere 10 matches.

The only time 10 matches can and should (and now do) entirely determine where you are placed is if you haven't played Ranked before.

ya no sorry i cant do it now since feel like absolute shit but when i get back into a rgove and start gettin g fair games one with actuall teams i am at the very least silver the problem there is that's not much better form bronze and i cant climb with out getting the retards to shut up and play which is far from my strong point in this now crappy game

All up to you. Plenty of other people are just ranking up again to where they belong, but if you can't handle it that's fine.

Exactly. I'm also suspecting OP MMR to have been low because he was hovering at Silver V before the reset. The spot where you can't demote to bronze, but where many do have bronze MMR. He should be happy he still got silver. Most players get placed lower after the soft reset. So not being placed lower means you actually gained something.

Then tell me how so many support challengers that are up there, got into challenger playing mostly support? If you deserve better, you'll get there in other matches. Maybe even skip a few ranks in the process.

I completely agree. Riot's ranking system was concocted by Lucifer himself to infuriate and not reward doing well during a game even if your team is full of rage quitters and flamers. For all my games I had very positive scores and in two games I had people go 0/7/0 within the first 6 minutes; and I am not exaggerating... I got placed in Bronze II because I won 5/10 placements, which was in the fate of incompetent and intentional feeding players. I was placed Silver III last season, and now to be put in Bronze II because of other people makes me never want to play this game again. It is a broken system that doesn't reward talented players and now if I do play again I have to wade through all the bullshit and flaming after school players that is Bronze...
