Then let your tank ( JarvanIV or Nasus , perhaps)or support ( Janna and Thresh do this well) peel for you. The whole point of 's ult is to to get to the adc, and lock them down, so if the adc could counter it, what would be the point?

First, learn to position during a teamfight. Don't get all bunched together, and don't get caught out.

Build item 3139

If she's building mostly damage, positioning will help you. A non-tanky Vi commits suicide if she ults you from the back.

If she's building tanky, build some armor pen and Botrk.

But seriously, several champions have point and click ults. Syndra Zed Warwick and so on. They could nerf Vi's damage, but the utility of her ult is core to her kit. She disrupts teamfights and punches you in the face. There is no escape.
