Usage of special symbols in club tags

Hello all! I am the current owner of the club Evelynn<3. Until today we had been using the tag ♥Eve♥ . The heart symbols are normally not usable in tags but a Riot employee allowed me and and my club usage of the tag. Today I received an email saying that this was a mistake and that I would have to change my club tag.

I believe that symbols in club tags would be a great prospect to look into for the League of Legends community. This allows for further customization for communities of players as well as making more variations of tags so players do not feel excluded if they cannot obtain an invitation to the club that they desire.

I know first hand that the ability to use the symbols in club tags is available since my club and I have been sporting the ♥ symbols for over a week. This leads me to believe allowing their usage would require minimal effort compared the the massive amounts of positivity it will create within the club aspect of League of Legends.

Are there any limitations that riot faces that prevents them from doing this?

If I can do this, Riot can add some frickin' hearts to a club tag.

Other regions can use more symbols as well as the standard. Its incredibly frustrating.

Riot really hurt my feelings when they did this. They changed to show tags in game, was 1 minor visual issue and they took them. Riot shouldn't give up on us so easily if they really care about all that matters to us... ♥
