Upcoming Syndra Changes

The other day, I was chatting with my ranked partner about the changes that will be coming about soon. I saw the Brand changes and was happy about those, as well as the changes to Annie. What of the changes to Syndra? Her passive is being changed soon that will greatly effect her playstyle, which will end up moving from a burst mage to a build-up mage. Currently, her passive gives her Q 15% additional damage against enemy champions. That means her combo, at the moment, is Q E W Q W Q R if you're good with her. Last night, in a tired stupor, I ended up calculating out the new change to Syndra's combo when the changes drop, and I forgot to include the extra ball that she can pick up with her W, Force of Will. The calculations will be posted below, including the combo and itemization that will be used to reach her optimal stats. The Ability Power total will not include Blue Buff, nor Dragon, Baron, or champion masteries/itemization other than Deathcap and an average AP from runes and masteries at 20 AP. Based on my current ideal build path, considering runes and masteries, I will have the full 45% cooldown reduction. At a build of Morellonomicon, Luden's Echo, item 3158, Rabadon's Deathcap, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Void Staff, you will end up with a total AP of 637, which is calculated before other champion's itemization and external sources of Ability Power(also includes a total of 20 AP from runes and masteries).

Syndra's Q, Dark Sphere, does 230+70% of her AP to a champion. (230)7 is 1610. The scaling would be ({637}.7)7, so the math would come out to be 4731 magic damage. This number seems wrong for some reason, if someone could correct it for me, that would be great!

Syndra’s W, Force of Will, now picks up two additional balls, and I'm not 100% sure that it applies damage from the extra balls. I assumed it did with the math, base damage is 240 at rank 5, which times 3 is 720 The scaling is 70% AP, which would multiply out to be 1337. The damage from it would come out to be, with three balls, 2058 damage.

Syndra’s E, Scatter the Weak, only does damage one time per champion, so the damage is base 250+40% AP. Assuming that Syndra has 637 AP, the math would come to a total of 505 damage.

Syndra’s ultimate, Unleashed Power, is where the math becomes a bit tricky since there are more balls to factor in, as well as math for the amount of balls used. Syndra's ultimate does 180+20% AP per ball. 180*9, which I consider to be possible now, is 1620. Because there are going to be ten balls, the AP scaling rises to a total of 200%. 200% of 637 is 1274. When you add it all up, the grand total is enough to kill a Cinderhulk + 5 Warmog’s tank, 10368 total magic damage.

The math done here is calculated before resistances, champions with damage buffing masteries, and champion itemization, such as Zeke’s Harbinger. It may even be possible to obtain an 11 ball ultimate if the cooldown for Syndra’s Dark Sphere remains the same.

Math and Paper done by dude its trevor, NA. And people say that Syndra was lost in the dust.
