How is black cleaver on nasus

Last Whisper is better, though I've never been impressed for the few times I've build it.

Actually Youmuu is a better option, it grants critical which Nasus needs (Nasus Q stacks can become critical as well) armor penetration, cooldown reduction and a temporaro boost to speeds.

q stacks cannot critically strike. They used to be able to, but it was nerfed maybe a year ago. For this reason, crit is not strong on nasus. Otherwise, yes, crit would be very strong on nasus. IE used to be a thing on nasus (250% damage from aa + q damage could do 2700 damage).

Sorry yes I checked, the base damage does crit but the stacks do not. hahahaha, I remember doing 3k crits with him

While the stats are somewhat good (health, cdr, armor shred) it takes too long to shred the armor with basic autos and Qs and its not good as a rush, you'd rather have a mix of cdr and resists to synergize with your passive laning style lifestealing back on creeps, that's why you take frozen heart/spirit visage earlygame in general.
