This champ is soo unskilled, u need 2 abylities to kill anyone and his w's range is too big AND have easy escape which cooldown is 2 sec, i dont want to insult someone but this champ is for noobs or people with mental problems, btw i almost break my hand bcs that champ. #talonpodmac

King Lego2 votesTalon is not hard to counter really. I'm a Vel'Koz main and I always stomp Talon especially when he uses his ulti. Depending on who you're playing, champions with cc and build paths are key when you play vs a Talon. Positioning is also important of course.
As Vel'Koz I tend to buy Zhonya but since I can make use of the stopwatch rune I don't have to rush it and build Luden's and then build HP items (Morello and Liandry's) ROA is good, but I don't like it much, or can get Seraph instead of Luden's.
I tried Talon before. It's often hell in the mid or late game to kill a squishee since they often stay with their support or other team mates. The 1st blood is often easy though.

Phieldworker1 votesYou gotta learn matchups. Kassadin is a late game monster while talon is the opposite. So last hitting when you can and letting him shove in lane should be the first goal so you can stay alive. Poke him with a when he moves to cs.
Against an assassin always build seekers arm guard first. I saw you mentioned you aren’t a mid laner so playing passive is the first thing you should think.
