Does anyone use Overheal?

I think this and some other runes, like cut down and last stand need a "revision" and if possible make them more "attractive" for more champions.

It's good on ADCs who build life steal but not Bloodthirster. Good on Nasus, Trundle and Cho because of their passives.

Problem is, the other 2 options, Triumph and Presence of Mind are far far better. Why get a shield for 40% of your healing for only 10% of your HP when you can just recharge 12% of your HP and get bonus gold or get 10% of your ult and 20% of your mana back?

Change the conversion to 50%, remove gold from Triumph and and make it 15% mana on PoM.

Personally I would prefer that they modify the rune so that other champions benefit rather than nerf the competition.

Well the whole rune system is kinda overtuned so some nerfs on the most used runes can never hurt.

Yeah, but that's not the discussion. xD

Fair point. The 300% from outside healing sounds great but when the only healers in the game are Nami, Soraka, Nidalee and Redemption (plus a few pathetic others) and generally you aren't healing them when they are full HP it's kind pointless when you can take the other runes instead. Making the others less appealing is sometimes the solution.

well now it synergises well with shield bash from what I hear. You have to remember that triumph and pressence only proc on takedowns whereas overheal offers actual combat effectiveness.

I love last stand, what are you talking about? It's already the best choice in the row.

on some champions that benefit from being low health, or are low health frequently, yeah it's the clear best choice (Kled Olaf Tryndamere Warwick Udyr )

but that's not every champion

Well to get the full extent of the rune yeah you should be under 30% health but even at 60% you already start dealing extra dmg. I always take this one with Renekton

I only take it on Warwick since everything he does maintains it, and gives a healthier first clear & duelling

In the last row too I always only take Coup de Grace which adds damage and execute. It's restriction is dependent on the opponent and applies to all opponents, while the other two in this row are dependent on your HP and not always effective against all opponents

Today I'll try it with Warwick then!

i build lifesteal early on marksmen and overheal is better than dedicated defensive runes in the actual defense 90 percent of the time
