Refund token discussion 2016

Hey so I'm pretty sure this is the first post regarding this in 2016 cause I did some searching and didn't see any for this year (I'm sure they will keep coming and never stop) but even if it isn't I'd like to discuss a part of the refund token renewal idea that I personally haven't seen on many if any threads regarding the subject. So to start I have to reiterate what every one of these will likely say. To start players do make mistakes. Mistakes that are not always the fault of the player. In the instance of skins many have art that make the skin look amazing but the in game graphics on the skin pale in comparison and sometimes it's almost as if you bought a complete different skin than what was expected. And in the case of champions themselves who are constantly being buffed, nerfed (TIL google thinks that nerfed isn't a word (is it?)), reworked nearly completely, or where far more powerful counters are being made, players can be very unhappy with those decisions and find that having in them in their roster is something they just don't want (obviously excluding those who want to own them all). I mean some people actually play ARAM (as forgotten as it might be for some). I for one am one of those people and absolutely hate it when one of my most despised champions appear on the screen and I have 0 re rolls and no one wants to trade. Okay now with all of the things that are repeated EVERY time that someone makes a post on this are out of the way. So no matter what happens during a refund Riot NEVER loses money. It is simply impossible to take funds out of a Riot account and put them into your own wallet. So in a situation where no matter what happens the company cannot lose money already spent in game what is the reasoning behind not allowing any renewal of refunds. I mean has any dev EVER posted on a specific reason on why this would be negative and non beneficial to the players or even themselves. There may have been instances of it but through all of my time looking through similar threads about this subject I have not seen even one. I mean I have a relatively small champion pool, I won't lie about it, but that is because I am afraid to buy a champion that I will regret buying because it merely looked like something I would enjoy playing. There are 123 champions in the game as of December 11, 2014 more than 1 year ago. Assuming each champ has at least 1 skin then that means there are at BARE MINIMUM from 1 YEAR AGO 246 possible items a player may want to refund but may choose only 3. And in a game constantly expanding a player is likely to find discontent somewhere in the future to the point where they wish they could refund a champion and/or skin. I honestly think that there should be a renewal process in place but that there should never be an unlimited amount of refunds as that system would simply be abused. So a thread doesn't really feel complete without a discussion so I want to know what anyone's ideas as to how a refund renewal system should be implemented. And for all the people who say 1 refund token per season I hope you aren't serious because that is a whole year of buying champions and skins where you are likely to find FAR more than one thing you hate (unless you like everything in which case good on you). I currently don't have any champions or skins I would really find worth in refunding even if I could but the reason for this is I'm afraid to buy champions and skins and never being able to undo a horrible decision. I guess you could say it just makes me a little SALTY. This ended up being A LOT longer than I initially anticipated I just got really into it. Just out of sheer curiosity I'm going to put an ARAM poll here so go ahead and take it or don't it really doesn't matter.

TLDR; RITO needs to give a way to accrue more refund tokens than the measly 3 they give us because there is literally no downside to it (as far as I can tell go ahead and prove me wrong if I am I would love to hear an opinion (though I guess since we're on the internet that might be a bad idea). Happy 2016 rant about refund tokens. This was my first post and I think though long I did fairly okay.

Edit: forgot the guideline on "mention Teemo as often as possible." so I hope once will do Teemo
