Mana pots

So they can can have mages with higher base mana, and nerf the mana levels if they are to strong. So they can't spam their spells as often. With mana potions, nerfing the mana levels would be pointless as they would just buy mana potions to keep on spamming their spells.

Just my theory, so take it as a grain of salt.
