Another overloaded champ

Great. As soon as I saw her abilities I looked up who designed senna. I was hoping to see CertainlyT but I was disappointed lmao. Akali, lux, redemption and amumu. Duct tape them together and ta da! Senna!

Another post ranting about a champion before they're even released.

Great.

akali shroud was broken just by itself already, and they are bringing back aoe obscurity???? fucking bull shit already

Except Akali's shroud was true stealth that worked under turrets? That's why it was broken, not just because it was stealth.

i mean untargetable is pretty fucking broken, and even in the current state akali is pretty strong, but the thing is aoe untargetably serves for a support that peels much better than conventional supports, and the fact she can move while doing so means that their bot lane will be immune to all ganks unless they make an aggressive play

She's still able to be hit by AoE's and skillshots, most junglers have those. The ability also states:

"Teammates who emerge from the mist appear as unclickable wraiths to enemies until they either attack or get close."

Meaning you just have to close the gap, which again, most junglers can do with ease.

Senna is also most likely going to be incredibly squishy (given her range, utility, mobility, and playstyle) meaning she'll crumble when someone gets close to her.

Even when Riot removed the "under turret" portion of her Obscurity, it didn't work and was a busted ability.

Akali as a whole was/is busted, the W by itself went back to being fine. It would work on any champion so long as they didn't have the AoE no-turret-detection BS that Akali had.

I don't have to be level7 to talk about her. That shit is not gonna work. It's common sense

Hotarµ1 votes

Right, it's "common sense" that she'll be overloaded even though:

  • Her hard CC is telegraphed/not as on-demand as other supports due to the delay
  • She herself is very squishy without any form of mobility (stealth and a slight MS boost is not a substitute for being locked down or focused properly, especially since AoEs can still damage her in her mist)
  • Her ultimate, while large, will most likely have a large cooldown
  • Her passive relies on stacks, meaning her early game is going to be naturally weaker than most other supports
  • We don't know her build path or what she prioritizes, she could be insanely mana-hungry and get gated by that
  • We don't know her damage numbers or cooldowns

Let's wait until she gets released on the PBE before we start making baseless assumptions.

Well she hit the pbe what do you think?

Not only before release, but before they are even on PBE. I will say the E looks ridiculous but other than that she doesn't seem too crazy.

Exactly, thank you.

Not going to lie, she definitely looks like she could be a game-changer when the person knows what they're doing, but all of these posts always play out the same way.

"Wow, Riot releasing more broken cancer" "I already have to permaban Akali/Irelia/etc. and now you're telling me I have to ban this one too?" "looks overloaded with absolutely no counterplay"

All before knowing anything relating to build paths, damage numbers, cooldowns, mana costs... _sigh. _
