He can use and Upgrade his turret to kill you while all he had to do is to place turrets and be gold, click 3 times bitches. You aren't rewarded for smart turret placements and you still become OP without landing your other skillshots. He is also impossible to gank. Well done Riot.

No, heimer definitely has counter play. Irelia isn't the only counter. There's Zed, Yasuo, Garen, Sion, just to name a few. Heimer has 0 mobility. His grenade is quite hard to land, and turret placements need to be on point. And no, if you place all 3 turrets right away, there's a pretty significant CD before he places another. He's quite easy to gank. You just need to abuse the fact that his only real damage is his turrets. You should therefore always be clearing them. Even if he spawns another, its free gold, and by letting his turrets just sit there, they're getting a lot of value.

His entire kit and how he deals damage is next to dependent on landing skillshots. Without them the beams for his turrets won't fire and their autos are weaker than minions.

As soon as he found a nice role in bot leaving melee top laners alone for once, bot lane players complained too. Can't play mid, isn't wanted Top, isn't wanted Bot. If you are top, pick Sion, Yorick, GP that can take his turrets out easily.

What would you change? Considering his win rate is 50% right now.
