Teemo player needing advice.

cough dont play teemo cough

with that out of the way, i play teemo, ALOT, and in alot of different roles, sure i dont play him when my team whines about it, but when i do get to, i try my hardest to win, but even though i try my hardest, just some match ups, i can NOT do anything.

Alot of people say Garen Nasus Chogath Darius Jax Yorick are all hard lanes for you, but i find them easy. But champs i do find hard to vs are...

Ekko He is the biggest thorn in my side, i can usually beat him lvl 1-5, but after he gets his ult, he just has way too much in his kit for me to try and avoid, its either i stand still and try to hit him, or just purely run away, if i try to kite, he will surely kill me and get away with his ult np.

Lissandra She can harass me as hard as i can harass her, then ult and lock me, with little to anything i can do to get away.

Rengar This asshole, is a flop for me, either i destroy him, or he destroys me.

Simply, he can just stand in bushes and jump at me, denying me farm, even if i blind him, he can still out dps me. Unless i get a camp, to where i can spam shrooms in bushes, theres little to anything i can do.

Riven Is nearly the same problem. Even with my W and flash, her jump attacks and lunge, is a way larger range than i can hope to get away with. Theres no kiting a riven unless i get a cutlass into a bork or hextech gunblade + rylies. But by then she has either killed me in lane, or starved me of my minions.

If you can beat yorick then the yoricks you are facing are trash.

Get used to building 3 different ways depending on your matchup and how skilled the opponent is. Hard ap - item 3151 item 3116 item 3135 facing a hard engage that messes up a lot tanky ap - item 3027 item 3116 item 3001 facing a hard engage that is not messing up Splitpush - item 3115 item 3153 item 3124 when they are letting you push and you can avoid ganks

Obviously there are other ways to play him but this is what i have found to work the best.

yah most yoricks are trash, all 3 of them.

But mostly, its about your build, if i rush a Hextech Gunblade, with a Corrupt Poison, and bait out his Slow Ghoul, get him to chase, nothing he can do, especially if i take two points in W before 6 to get a bigger movespeed advantage on him, he is too sluggish to keep up in poke n run tactics.

by the time you get item 3146 yorick already has item 3211 item 1001 item 3070 which means he is gonna sustain your damage more and have tear to spam ghouls push you out of lane harder and sustain from his e

however that match up is gonna be in question with his rework now

as a person who plays majority of the champs you listed top i have zero issues vs teemo as Chogath Darius Garen Malphite Nasus Yorick Malphite

if your Teemo vs Lissandra cry cuz she dont auto your blind is useless other then harass and stop her from AA for cs a bit. she is a caster who has slows, gap close, kite, and burst on full combo

as far as Riven she is a caster who autos inbetween cast she has no sustain in lane unless she gets item 3077 item 1053 the best thing to do is poke and harass her and let your dot hurt her. if she all ins you are kinda fubar cuz she is caster with burst and gap close

teemo is bad vs champs that can all in him. gap closers and who are casters.

that is why i can play yorick. garen , into teemo no problem sustain and casters dont rely on autos. darius can all in you if your not carefull and insta kill you. malph at lvl 6 will all in and has burst. cho aoe damage , sustain, and if he catches you same as darius now the misnomer that Teemo counters Nasus lol well i take lifesteal/spell vamp in the 1st tree as Nasus i run ad reds, mr quints, hp seals and cdr blues ill start item 1056 and E as Nasus and use the aoe magic damage to farm and harass you from range . if i miss 10stacks lvl 1 on my Q its not that big of deal. come lvl 2 take Q and i can stack while i use E and the aoe magic damage to keep you at bay, if you wanna harass well you are gonna take a lot of damage as well.

You sort of missed what i said up top.

The champions i listed, at the top, i can destroy, with teemo, Garen, Nasus, Darius, all that, are easy to me. But the ones like riven and liss as i said, i can not do a thing but hide under tower, but even then that doesnt work.

no i didnt miss it. i was making a point i can play those champs and win vs teemo. meaning its a skill match up. its who ever makes the 1st mistake.

and as far as riven i gave points on how to beat her. as Teemo vs Riven i would go 0-18-12 and run magic pen reds, attack speed quints armor yellows and cdr blues so you can use your w and q more often

12-18-0 is ok if you wanna take the attack speed into feast for free sustain into vampirism so you can sustain in lane. you can start item 2033 but i think if you start item 1029 and item 2003 will u more armor vs her might be good vs Rengar as well.

i would rush item 3136 into item 3115 but if you arent itemizing armor you are gonna die.

and sometimes you need to realize when you can win and when you can lose lane. and also know that just cuz you lose some cs and maybe turret you didnt lose game. now if you go 0-3 and lose cs and turret well

sometimes playing safe is best if it cost some cs . as like you said vs Ekko your good til he gets his ult. well try to win before that ask for early ganks get an advantage if not at 6 roam be safe ect. but as Teemo if you know your vs a certain lane that gives you hell dont pick Teemo pick something else that you can play with.

as far as the Lissandra you are just screwed .... run attack speed reds and quints, hp per lvl seals and mr blues

if u can increase your dps you might be able to trade by dps and having hp and mr runes you have more tools to sustain the lane.

take summoner 1 in lane for her ult

build item 3001 asap and a item 3102 isnt a bad idea either and go item 3115 item 3020 item 3151 item 3091

or if you are dead set on item 3116 over item 3091

I beat them all but I only struggle vs Yasuo

9 attack Speed Reds 9 Attack Speed Blues 9 armor yellows 3 Attack Speed Quints

Max this Order E>W>Q plus your ult

I rush item 3022 item 3009

Then go item 3085 item 3512 item 3146 item 3742 item 2138

I have a couple builds i usually play with. Depends what my team is, and who i am vsing.

All the items you said are VERY great on him.

Yas, honestly i can beat, its a mix up, usually decided on the jungler.

My builds are as follows.

AP: item 2033 (sell later) item 3146 (His poison procs the heal on Hextech, this is invaluable.) item 3151 item 3020 item 3157 item 3116 item 3135 . Depending on the game, i sometimes switch out torment or rylies with item 3100 .

On-Hit: item 3146 item 3085 item 3124 item 3022 item 3111 item 3157 .

Split Push: item 3085 item 3512 item 3009 item 3022 item 3146 item 3060 sometimes ill flop out frozen mallet for item 3124 .

Practically the same, just slight variants. My Runes n masteries are usually attack speed marks, armor per lvl seals, flat ap quinns, mr per glyphs, with 18-12-0 for masteries. getting deathfires.

I love Teemo. I find the most effective way to play him is Deathfire Touch, Attack Speed Quints and Marks, with Scaling AP Glyphs. And then Gunblade into Nashor's, and then either Liandry's or Rylai's depending on your matchup. You mentioned having problems with Riven- I suggest going into lane with Exhaust. One AA Q hit WILL pierce her shield, and just play the passive game and freeze lane until her level 2 power spike subsides. After that I recommend always placing every shroom you have down as soon as it comes up (quantity over quality with your deathtraps) BUT save one in the chamber. That way, if Riven all in's you- pop exhaust on her and a shroom at your feet. She'll have to choose real quick which she prefers XD
