I just want to say, how much BS I think it is that I got placed in bronze IV thanks to two rage quitters, a feeder on a mission, and a troll only out for blood. When in placement matches the only thing that should count is what you do and what you do alone. Even IF, and that is a very light IF, Riot were to leave it that what the "team" does counts still, making it to where afks or leavers wouldn't count against you it would make a world of difference. Oh no though, ranked matchmaking is SOOOO balanced I'm reminded.....

Chronic feeders and afk'ers will eventually get punished. Until they do it enough to get restricted from Ranked, there's not exactly a way for matchmaking to somehow "know" they are going to do these things. You're asking for some kind of future telling system.

You were placed there because of your extremely low MMR from last season; there was no way you weren't getting placed where you are. The placement matches don't affect it that much.
