anyone care to explain how i won 9/10 placements and got bronze 5? my friends are telling me winning placements puts you in lower rank than you were last season why is this? I practiced really hard so that when the season started i could place really well. I feel soo defeated right now.

it does depend on the opponents and their mmr. My guess is you played against a bunch of s5 bronze players. A bunch of people got lower then they expected or wanted. Just play ranked games and climb. If you're meant to have a higher rank you'll climb

You got boosted huh. On a serious note, you have never climbed out of bronze, that is why you're bronze 5. What did you want then, diamond out of those?
