Please tell me Lucian will be getting some buffs or changes for the better

I mean the guy has been buffed after release, then became over powered like like crazy then nerfed till he was one of the worst adc.I also rarely see the guy played. Honestly I preferred lucians old play style and not the dash like crazy cd. If Lucian is gonna stay 500 att range atleast allow the guy to break slows with his e again. I mean riot has been saying all of lucians needs a weakness, which is his range but, if your gonna gut his damage too then whats the point. Almost all of my fellow league players just tell others to just play graves. At least his e gives att speed and he has overall better burst.

you mean all the new ADC items? Yeah those could NEVER be considered buffs

Those are for all ADCs. Lucian is outclassed by every other ADC in the game right now, take 10 people, 1 is really weak and can't fight the others very well, give all 10 of them the exact same buffs, that 1 weakling will still be outclassed regardless, cause he didn't get any individual buffs to add to the others.

Graves was the better Lucian. Now there is no better Lucian. Lucian has gotten his Niche back

Lucian is just overly weak, and the buffs won't really help him much.

i played him on the PBE. specifically Essence Reaver and Ghostblade on him are pretty insane. Ghostblade especially. I went Infinity Edge > Ghostblade like normal on him and the damage was pretty intense. Essence Reaver works way too well on him and gives you nearly max CDR by itself and another 20% crit. those 3 items alone are so good and with the Last Whisper being a cheaper component item you can afford to just get LasT whisper and finish it later while building your 3 core items.

Also...his ult buff is not to be understated. whereas before an enemy laner didnt have to respect it until later in the game. now if they get hit by it even rank 1 for a couple seconds it melts them. if they take the full duration they might as well sign their death wish.

PBE has 1 direct change to him, in changing his ult to a fixed number of shots.

Which is actually a pretty huge buff, since it means more projectiles at level 6. Additionally, it disincentivizes AS on him, since he does no longer get special benefits out of the stat.

Combine it with the new items, and you're ready to really go to town with him.

Essence Reaver for CdR and mana restore
IE for more Crit, CdR with ER and AD
Death's Dance for the final 10% CdR and sustain
Berserker's for a little bit of AS
LW upgrade for anti-tank

Trust me when I say that thing no longer needing AS is a huge fricken buff... >> When it can do a few hundred at level 6 by just getting a BF sword and 0 AS, that's some nasty stuff.
