To even jungle with ANYONE you need a full rune page with all the yellows filled with Armor Yellows at minimum. I would suggest waiting quite some time before you try to jungle. Get tier 3 runes for all the slots, but ask around for about some good all-around AD and AP rune pages. Then you can try practicing jungle, and other roles will end up being somewhat easier with a full rune page.

EDIT: Also once you hit 18 you can get a Keystone Mastery. Some have seriously good synergy when chosen on certain champions.

I appreciate what you are trying do, but that is not actually fact. The accuracy is the problem. Misinformation can be worse than no information even if well-intentioned. Especially when the receiver may not have information to figure it out themselves.

The jungle is harder than some previous seasons, yes, but it's not that hard. Junglers are common in low level games; You do not need a full rune to be capable of jungling. There are champions who can jungle without any runes at all, e.g. you can do the first clear, solo with Warwick at level 10.
Yes, it's not optimal and you should have a full rune page if level 30, but people can and always do jungle before then.

And, proof of concept, I just did a 4 camp-2 buff, Mundo clear with no runes and only 17 points in masteries which is standard for some champs at 30. Yes, I got a bit low for an actual game but there was no leash either. There is no reason why players can't practice jungle and do the low-sustain three camp clear and base.

Alright. This is just what I was pretty much told during season 5 though. And I'm also a somewhat newer player. I joined on patch 5.6 so mind cutting me some slack?

I'll cut you all the slack; like I said, I appreciate you trying to help.

I was only trying to be clear, not aggressive. ; )

Thanks. Some of that I did not know. Like being able to do WW jungle at lvl 10 with no runes. To me Jungle was (and kinda still is) an intimidating thing to attempt. Mainly because of the pressure it has... And from trying to do it back on Team Builder and kinda having ass handed to me on a diamond studded gold platter... Very unpleasant experience honestly. Though afterwards the other jungler found out how new I was and felt REALLY sorry about what happened and gave me some advice and tips. Hint: I was lvl 15 at the time and he was an experienced lvl 30

Jungling with no runes at all is definitely a trip on a tank jungler.

If you want my advice, Reset your current masteries and go into the Resolve tree and do the following -

Tier 1 Masteries - 5 points into Recovery (personal flavor, you can put 5 into Unyielding if wanted) Tier 2 - Tough Skin Tier 3 - 5 points into Runic Armor Tier 4 - Perserverence (this really, really helps especially in the jungle) Tier 5 - 5 points into Swiftness (this will greatly improve your ganks and teamfights) **Keystones **- Strength of the Ages or Bond of Stone, either one will work. Bond of stone slightly increases your gank potential, Strength of Ages gives you a strong late game (teamfights)

You're going to really want runes, since you are only level 17 you should at least have one page of AD and 1 page of AP TIER 1 runes/quintessence. If you play tank often, purchase Tank runes instead.

be careful to not waste IP on Tier 2 runes as they are utter GARBAGE. Make sure you correctly filter them into tier 1 or 3 when buying in the shop.

It's well worth it to purchase additional pages with RP, 4 rune pages being optimal.

Once you have your 2 pages of tier one runes, you can either work your way into qualifying for Ranked (level 30 with at least 16 of your own champions)

OR

you can work your way into buying tier 3 runes, be careful when purchasing these that you are getting the right ones.

Tips

1-make sure your properly last hitting with your q to get the health back 2-just get the runes if you plan on jungling, it makes a world difference for jungle mains 3-make sure you ask for tips on what runes to buy, so easy to buy the wrong ones 4-don't underestimate your Ws damage, it helps, a lot 5-use your ult at the start of a fight, not mid fight
