How Did I Not Get S Rank (Trust Me, Read)

Hey guys! Not trying to whine here, I am a new LoL player and I love it so far. Getting really good at it and really settled into some fun champions.

I was just wondering, because I feel like if I did not get S rank from this game (one of the best matchmaking experiences of my life), how will I ever. If that makes sense.

To put it more into perspective besides the picture showing my kills, deaths, CS, etc, I won this game. I was playing with the worst teammates I have ever played with on LoL (They were really nice guys just horrendously awful. Standing and staring at turrets awful). We were down 17-0, but when I finally stacced Nasus and went god mode, buying all of his full build items, the enemy team could not touch me. So we won the game, a game we could have lost in 10 minutes.

Can anyone explain how I did not get S rank? I know a lot factors in but please let me know what I could be doing better at because I want that achieve. Thanks!

Because 213 CS in a 40 minute game is absolutely TERRIBLE.

Even more so on a Nasus.

Ranking is 99% death count and CS. S ranks generally require no more than 2 deaths and at least 6-7 CS a minute.

No need to be rude. I wouldnt classify my performance as terrible, as I literally brought the whole team back for a win from a 17-0 game lol.

I had double the CS of the time I got an A+ ranking and more CS than anyone in the game. Explain?

Your CS is why you didn't get it.

Without seeing the rest of your stats, hard to say. KDA seems to have a small impact, if any.

It's calculated based off all the people who play that champ in that role. Getting an S means performing better than the majority of people who play that champ in that specific position by that point in the game

Having a very low CS while having a lot of assists helps immensely. The game will think you're supporting and supporting well.

It's not how it works.

Then explain to me how I can play Lulu and get an S fairly easily. I meet that criteria I mentioned.

First off, I was saying that the game thinks you're a support if you have low CS and high assists. Secondly, CS is not the name of the game. You need kills, assists, and vision on top of farm. It's also a good idea to avoid dying, even if it's an execution. I've noticed that executions really hurt your grade.

Meant to reply to other guy. Did you see the picture I linked? My kills, assists, deaths cant be the problem. Did you see my KD? Just saw someone go S rank for 12-5 kd with less CS than I had by almost 50.

It might be a different statistic that did it. Did you abosrb a lot of damage? Deal a lot to structures? Did you last hit those kills or did you deal a lot of the damage too? What was your vision score?

Different roles different criteria, for him assists as Nasus clearly won't push him further than A+, since in overall basis they are farming and getting kills. Either u get lots of kills or average kill / death ratio with huge CS numbers.

As a support u trying to die less and earn as many assists as u can. Entire champion ranking is based on averaeg players performance so some champs may need way better stats some way less, depends on champion popularity, I guess.

The point is that if the game thinks you're supporting, the requirements are a lot more lenient compare to a carry's or a tank's.

Don't listen to these people talking about cs. If you are relatively new to the game then I practically guarantee you didn't get an S due to your vision score (wards placed and wards destroyed).

make a very good point as where ill say being down like 150CS takes a part in it vision score especially in a 40 minute game would take a big part as well
