Why does Yas windwall asorb Ornn's ult?

Dear Riot,

Yas's windwall should not absorb Ornn's ult. It literally makes no sense. A projectile is launched, shot, thrown in the air or some variation of this. It is an elemental creature that comes along the ground. It is literally in the verbiage of his ult. Plese, fix this. I should not*[slayer-jinx-unamused]* see Yas counter pick top, simply because they know my ult is pointless against them.

Please look into it. Thank you

That's what a projectile in real life is.

In games, a projectile is anything that goes from point A to B with a travel time and a particle. That makes Ornn's ult a projectile.

^ this.

Otherwise how could anyone justify Braum countering Nami Ult? The precedence for what is being described here already exists in the Braum Nami matchup so unfortunately for you, if you want to avoid the Yasuo counter, just ban it.

While I agree, I still kind of understand OP's frustration with having his ult literally deleted by a basic ability. I recall seeing posts where people said that Yasuo's Windwall shouldn't block ultimate abilities, but while I think it could be a good idea it also has a downside which would mean that it would loose it's purpose in a way (since the idea is that he has tools to outplay someone).

its because RIOT wants Code>Theme, because "its cool" to block everything with a wall of air.

Because thats what makes yasou so much fun to play against.

But ornn hard counters yasuo in lane

Wind wall doesn't block Vel'koz's ult because it's a laser and not a projectile, so by that same logic it shouldn't block Ornn's ult either. If your definition is anything that travels from point a to point b then it should block literally EVERYTHING: wards, champions, Jarvin's flag, everything. There is a limit to what a basic ability should be able to do, and that's the point this guy is making.
